An absolutely positive and pleasant experience from the first viewing of what is now our new home right through to the sale of our old house and new purchase completion. William was a joy to deal with - very knowledgeable, highly professional and extremely trustworthy along with being very personable. Fantastic support also from Rupert and Vanessa. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Our sale and purchase were definitely not straightforward but Will went above and beyond to keep us updated and reduce our stress levels even with a dash of humour at times! This is probably the first time I have ever felt the need to say something positive about an Estate Agent, but the service provided by Rupert and the team when selling our property has been first-class. They accurately determined the market value of the flat and then found a buyer offering the full asking price almost immediately (something which our previous agent failed to do). They then kept us well informed through out the sales process all the way through to completion. Initially we relied on Rightmove, which was helpful. But, for such an important transaction, this property website information was no match for Rupert’s in-depth market knowledge. Particularly helpful was Rupert’s ability to identify a property’s pros and cons (often significant but subtle and not readily apparent). We contacted Rupert Oliver along with several other estate agents when we were looking for our 'forever house' in the Bristol area recently. We were absolutely delighted when he quickly identified a home that met our exact (and unusual) specifications and because he was so easy to deal with, we asked him to handle the sale of our property too. His strategy to sell our house was spot on, the photographer that he used was excellent and the marketing sublime; he secured two offers for us with the first two viewings, one of which we accepted on his advice. While the process was complicated by our unique circumstances, Rupert's expertise and experience made it all possible, including an introduction to a Independent Financial Advisor who secured a mortgage for us when other brokers had failed in the past. Rupert is entirely honest and trustworthy, completely reliable and utterly loyal. He worked tirelessly on our behalf to maintain effective communications up and down the chain and as a result, gave everyone a high level of confidence that things were going to work out okay. He was also extremely good at talking to our solicitors to keep things moving along and prompting us to act when necessary. Having moved home over fifteen times, this was the most complicates set of circumstances we have ever faced, however Rupert made it all appear easy and certainly reduced our stress levels during the process. Whether you are buying or selling, I have no doubt whatsoever that Rupert Oliver would handle it for you in the best possible manner. He is singly the best estate agent with whom I have worked and I would recommend him without reservation.
