My viewing experience of a 2 bedroom house in Ladywood Road was really disappointing. Not only the property was not maintained but it was also dirty. There was rust, mold and even pee in the toilet left there for months. Very unhygienic. The agent named Jodie said: 'this is what you get for such a lower offer' while I've seen other properties with impeccable conditions at the same price. Also she rudely justfied mold in the properties in Hertford. Question for you Jodie: do you live with mold in your house?
Truly gutted to have wasted time to see a property in such an unacceptable state.

David gave us excellent advice throughout the sales process and kept us fully updated on everything that was happening across the chain. He went above and beyond to ensure responses were provided promptly and went out of his way to get extra info, to see queries resolved, essentially making a potentially stressful process far less stressful.
It's one thing to get an agent who can successfully market and sell your house but they also have a role to play in ensuring the sale completes and that's where David and the team really excelled. Their experience and understanding made a positive difference to the process and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, you'd be crazy not to use Shepherds!

We have moved a number of times in the past and although like most house moves they can be challenging at times we felt that the service from Shepherds estate agents was excellent
Following the first visit from David to discuss the sale of the property we asked for some time to consider as we were relocating and not fully sure if we were going to move or not .They respected this and there were no following pressure calls chasing us for a decision
When we went ahead with listing the property Sam handled the sale and within a week of the property being on the market we had many viewings and the property sold quickly
We felt that the realistic photos and good details from the agent gave an honest description of the house
Sam was excellent with keeping us up to date of every stage of the sale and helping where ever he could even down to helping with last minute contact numbers for a removal company which was much appreciated
If Sam was out of the office then Peter and Paula were just as helpful and pushed things along when needed

From first assessment to completion, the team at Shepherds were super helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and accommodating, in particular our agent Sam Timms, who was unfailingly tactful and cheerful throughout. From connecting us with first-rate contractors to staging and showing the house, to many little 'extras' like taking meter readings after we'd moved out, and with consistently solid advice along the way, we felt that Shepherds were there for us whatever we needed. Our house is now sold, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Very highly recommended!

Shepherds have been faultless throughout what was a difficult sale. All the staff I dealt with were professional and friendly and knew my case; rather than having to be reminded/bought up to speed each time I contacted them. Whether by phone or email they were always prompt. Excellent communication throughout the process, chasing who needed to be chased and offering advice and contacts along the way. They happily retook photos when I cleared the garden and never grumbled about several visits to the property. They even went and checked I'd left the heating on over the cold winter. I can not recommend them highly enough. The absolutely earnt their fee on this one!
