As a tenant, I have had the worst experience with Kings. Their customer service is poor, their communication is terrible and as a letting agent they are almost entirely incompetent. From the start of the process, they didn’t even know if they had received my deposit or not which is quite concerning when you’re trusting them with a large amount of your money. Due to this, I specifically asked for an invoice for my rent each month which has yet to appear despite being in the property for four months. Repairs that were reported months ago still haven’t been fixed, and you can only expect to get any information about what’s going on if you are the one to chase it up and send emails. Beyond that you won’t hear from your property manager unless they need something from you or think you are in the wrong. At that point you can expect a generic email template in a different colour and font than the rest of the email, which will be spelt incorrectly and half the time not really make any sense. I was left with no working toilet in the property for ten days due to the incompetence and lack of attention of Kings. They then tried to put the blame onto me for not reporting it despite me having done so. It’s been extremely disappointing that they can’t take responsibility for this failure. The experience I have had with Kings will make me move out of the property at the earliest possible time just to avoid having to work with them again. Do not rent with Kings if you want anything done!!... Read more
