Squarefoot have been fantastic estate agents. They have always dealt with issues promptly and keep in very good contact. We have just left the property and they have been very understanding of the fact that the flat did attain marks and scuffs due to wear and tear, and took this into account when it came to returning our deposit. Highly recommend renting or buying through Squarefoot.

I scheduled an appointment with them to view a house to buy, but they didn't bother to show up. Disrespectful, unprofessional and plain rude. The lady on the phone tried blaming it on me. If you actually want to sell a house, go look for another agency.

We rented with Squarefoot for a couple of years and had our faith restored in estate agents. Tara and the team are real professionals who responded quickly to any issues we had with the property. They were very accommodating regarding contract renewal, and we felt respected as tenants throughout the tenancy. The inventory was handled by third party clerks and the deposit was returned fairly.

Overall their service was good throughout my 2 year tenancy, however on occasion there were some emails which didn't have the best tone. I'm also a bit disappointed that upon leaving the flat I had a year of scaffolding on, they've charged us £220 for cleaning through a third party. Wiping down water marks on shower screens do not cost £20. I won't be using agencies going forward as it appears they accept anything a cleaning company tries to fob the customer off with. A shame really as up until then the ladies at the estate agents had been relatively helpful.

We rented a property for 3 years from Squarefoot until 2015.
Generally they left us to our own devices (FYI landlords: if they are billing you for regular inspections you are being ripped off, because they barely ever happened when we were tenants in a managed property). However, when problems did arise they turned into the kind of agent who has no issues with gaslighting tenants.
The biggest issue we had with them was at the end, when they allowed the landlord to try and move someone in a day early (we were shifting our final bits and in the middle of deep cleaning when new tenants turned up with furniture).
We complained about this to the agent and pointed out it was still our tenancy, where upon they told my wife and I that they knew it wasn't right, but they didn't care and this was how it was (even though they knew it was against the contract).
Obviously this made an already stressful day even more so, and it still rankles several years later!

I cannot recommend this estate agents more! Having put my property up for sale at the beginning of the year, the whole house moving process was made rather more complicated by Corona and lockdown. However, their communication and assistance was 5 star!! I wouldn't say 'despite corona' - their communication was just excellent.
Special mention to Olivia and Tara who were especially patient and empathetic and made the move so much less stressful. They really ensured that my relationship with my buyer was excellent and this really smoothed the whole process.
I wish I could give you 6 stars!

I have been involved with Squarefoot since last year, carrying out cleaning services for pre and post tenancy of the properties they manage.
I have found that the staff are very friendly and work hard to ensure that their tenants, their landlords and their service providers are all happy yo continue their relationship with them.
Wherever they can they always make sure that the properties are clean tidy and ready for habitation.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a property.

Make sure the property is in full working order before you move in. My toilet hasn't flushed properly for 10months. Windows missing handles. Mold on the ceiling.
Instead of professionals the landlords parents took care of the maintenance (hence the living conditions) Eventually got professionals in once water had leaked through the ceiling from the bathroom. They really dont care about the property or the maintenance. All they do is make sure the rents paid. And when you do complain, they'll send you letter ending your tenancy.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Squarefoot Estate Agents. They were super efficient for a number of years in managing our apartment in Penarth Marina and when the tenant decided to relocate we instructed Ehsan and his team to put the property on the market. I was a litttle hesitant at first thinking I should have used a Penarth based agent but my concern was completely unfounded as they were knowledgable in providing advice, competitive on fees and quickly found a cash purchaser who paid the asking price and the sale proceeded without hiccup. Their communication was excellent, I knew exactly what was going throughout process. I have worked in the property industry for many years and have had contact with a lot of estate agents and rate Squarefoot up there with the best!

I recently purchased a Cardiff Bay property with Ehsan handling it. The service I received was excellent, I was kept up to date with developments throughout the purchase and Ehsan was proactive in liaising between the solicitors, me and the seller which sped up the process. My solicitor also commented that the agent was very helpful at all times. I would recommend to others based on the friendly and helpful service. Eshan was great from start to finish. Photos he took really made our flat look great. We sold the first time within 5 days at full asking price. Unfortunately the buyer pulled out but we then sold again at full asking price within 2 weeks-even at a tough time to sell in December! He was extremely helpful when things got stressful with solicitors and even took the time to take my calls when off work. I would highly recommend his services.

We recently bought an apartment in Cardiff Bay which was being marketed by Squarefoot Estate Agents and another firm of estate agents. We chose to buy through Squarefoot and I cannot praise this company enough. We dealt with a chap called Ehsan and I can only describe his service as EXCELLENT. He never failed to return any of my calls if he couldn’t speak to me immediately and on 2 occasions even met us at the property when it was his day off. This company really does go the extra mile for their clients and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.Keep up the good work you deserve every success.

If anyone is hesitating to use squarefoot to sell their property then please don't, I had three agents round initially to value my property and I knew within 5 minutes of meeting Eshan that I'd use squarefoot. He has been amazing throughout, not only very professional but also friendly and efficient. His communication is spot on, whenever I've asked a question or needed advise he has always been on hand even replying well into the evening or on a Sunday when normal high street agents would be closed. Normally selling your house is a stressful experience but having Eshan on hand has made the whole process so much easier. I would highly recommend squarefoot and in particular Eshan to anyone.
