Julia and the team at mansbridge have been absolutely incredible every step of the way, the speed and turnover of communication and efficiency of the team meant we were able to match with a property and meet the landlord before making any payments to ensure it was the right home for us. We had a really positive experience buying a house through Mansbridge Balment, Tavistock. Kevin initially showed us around the property and clearly has lots of experience in doing so. He offered advice when asked and answered all questions that we had, even after the viewing. Dealing with Peter, when our sale fell through, was really straightforward and resolutions were found quickly for all parties involved.

Our existing property was successfully purchased through Mansbridge in Tavistock in 2007. Fourteen years later when it was time to move on, Mansbridge were marketing a new build house that we fell in love with. Unfortunately, it would not be completed till the end of 2022 but to be considered we would have to put our property on the market by the end of February. Mansbridge were given the task of finding a buyer who could possibly wait until our purchase was finished at the end of the year. By April they had but all parties had a stressful roller coaster ride until contracts were exchanged on 18th November. Members of the Mansbridge team that were actively involved in our sale were Nicola, Peter, Richard, Kevin, Tony and not least Dan. When negotiations appeared to be reaching a stalemate Peter was able to broker a favourable deal between our sale and purchase and agents fees that enabled us to proceed for which I am very grateful.
Richard and Tony both took some great internal photos and early spring external shots to provide a great presentation for rightmove but when full summer arrived and the garden was looking its best Dan turned up with his camera and added some amazing images of the Barn and its gardens in full bloom, one of which I will have enlarged and mounted for display in our new home.
Hence 5 stars

Wouldn't trust this estate agent.
Was told that they knew the sellers well and that they were chain free. Which they clearly wasn't. This estate agent knew the sellers well and had sold other properties for them. So we were told how they wanted a quick sale. We managed to get everything done within the time frame they wanted. They then told us that the house that they had now suddenly found wasn't ready but they wanted to exchange without given us a date. When we said we need the date that they had first given us , they then pull out. Totally a waste of time and alot of money. When I complain to the estate agent that he had stung us along ...his words were.."well I've lost money to ...not sure that he lost £1600....just don't trust them ...and becareful if you thinking of buying a very nice coach house in the area.
Was also recommended a builder to do report on the property that we were looking to buy by the estate agent only to find out when they arrived...that they were the builder that had done all the work on the property ???? So of course, we were told everything is prefect.

If you are looking for the best Estate Agents in Devon then just search Mansbridge Balment Tavistock. During an incredibly busy housing market this year (Spring/Summer 2021) I both sold my property with them and bought a property with them too.
Their professional and knowledgeable advice on both sides of this process was second to none. From that very initial phone call , (where first impressions matter) to arrange a valuation everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and clear on how the process would work. Nothing was too much trouble right through from the initial valuation through to securing my lovely new home. In particular Kevin, Julia and Peter have been incredibly supportive during quite a stressful process resulting in a successful completion in time for the end of September deadline. An absolute pleasure to find a team so focussed on providing such excellent customer service where you speak to a human being rather than automated robots.

Put in an application for a property, following a viewing, only to be completely ignored. Found out from their website that the property had been let agreed. Rude, and a waste of our time.
ETA: Not only rude, and a waste of time, but also a waste of lots and lots of money! Did you a favour not leaving the walls black with mould.

I arranged a viewing on a house last summer with Mansbridge and decided to put an offer in. Apparently somebody else had put the exact same offer in on the property and we were told to submit our "highest and final offers". Our next offer was declined, so we asked to put another slightly higher offer in. We were told, quote, "I will put this offer forward, but I know it will be declined, the offer that has been accepted is significantly higher", only to find out months later the final sale price to the other person was the exact same amount as our offer! To make matters worse, the agent never got back to us to confirm if our offer had been accepted or declined. Alongside being treated poorly & not taken as a serious buyer, most likely due to being young & female. Terrible experience and would be reluctant to view another property with Mansbridge.

You go see a house, say you are interested and OF COURSE they ignore you and don't call you back. Horrible people. Then you have to find out that the house has been rented looking online. I wonder if you would treat your son/daughter like this or better: would you like to be treated like this? I guess no, well then: treat people as you would like to be treated. The reason you didn't call back? Because you are RUDE! You lot are all the same, greedy, fake and patronising. Now go ask your friends to leave some fake good reviews.
They even left a message on my phone AFTER reading this message offering other houses, YES, of course I am going to give my hard earned money to you.
