I had a valuation done by Toby Hayward on Wednesday last week. What a nice guy! Very professional, on time and very well presented. He was highly knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions and queries clearly and fully. The process was made much easier by his friendly and calm attitude, and both myself and my partner were made to feel relaxed. Also, he has a good sense of humour and likes a bit of cake! I would highly recommend doing business with Toby, as I’m sure I will be in the future.

I would highly recommend Mica and the Team at the Tavistock branch for buying or selling a property. Mica, was highly professional, efficient and personable. No hard sell, instead hard working. Don’t waste your time. They are supposed to be in the business of selling houses and they require you to jump through their hoops before even seeing a property.

I have not yet bought the property. I am still waiting for answers after 12 weeks.
I have tried to speak to your estate agents about the situation and been promised call backs but nobody has phoned me. Very disappointing.

We were cash buyers. Enquired about a house and were constantly put off. Promised call backs that never came. Eventually were told the seller had decided to take it off the market the day before we phoned about it. They just strung us along. They can't even be bothered to take the property off their website or Rightmove. Seem to be using the Covid crisis as an excuse to do nothing. They admit nothing and do nothing. Rubbish.

Sold my home using Blieu, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond what I expected.
I'd thoroughly recommend Fulfords in Tavistock and in particular Blieu, I hope he gets a decent bonus.

I viewed a property in Hatherleigh which I fell in love with and I put in an offer of the asking price at the viewing. I was told that there were two other viewings that day. A few hours after the viewings the agent phoned me to say that the other viewers had not shown any interest and, therefore, she had conveyed my offer to the vendor who had accepted it. The agent informed me that she had also called my agents to tell them that I had had my offer accepted.
A couple of days later, I got an email to say that one of the other viewers had later offered more than me and that it was now going to "best and final" offers by 5pm that day. However, I was driving all day and did not see my emails until after 5.30pm as I do not have a smart phone. In short, I had been gazumped after I had been told that my offer had been accepted.
Understandably, I am furious about this and feel that I should warn people that their offer, even when verbally accepted and confirmed by Fulfords, may well be tenuous and unsafe.
