My experience with Sunny Bay Letting Agency over the past two years was disappointing in several respects. Throughout my tenancy, I rarely interacted with anyone from the agency until the final week, and it was surprising to find that key arrangements and property viewings were primarily managed by the tenants themselves. Moreover, the agency often delegated tasks to tenants, including repairs, showings, key management, and contractor coordination. This led to confusion regarding key copies and access procedures, as the agency's stance on possessing key copies seemed inconsistent. For example, contractors’ access to bedrooms required leaving them open all day, even when tenants were away from the property. Maintenance concerns, such as mold in the bathroom and a broken bathtub, were brought to the agency's attention but remained unresolved. Additionally, incidents involving drunk and aggressive tenants, were reported to the agency but met with inaction. Response times for appliance repairs were slow, with a washing machine issue taking 10 days to resolve. Despite incurring additional expenses due to delays, reimbursement for laundry costs was denied. Upon vacating the property, I was unexpectedly asked to pay £105 for lightbulb replacements that I had already handled. Sunny Bay’s lack of support and action regarding tenant concerns left much to be desired. I wouldn't use sunny bay again,I am very disappointed,and I feel this service was very rushed,I didn't have a choice of tenants,offers,and before I knew it,a tenant was moved I did not want,,in this has put me out big time until,sept. This service is ok,but they don't go the extra mile,I am a very busy person,and I particularly found communications,very poor,with one collective email response,to five questions,this agency deals with over seas people,and collect high fees every six months,I explained this,and a tenant was moved in when I told them,it just wasn't right for me.now I'm stuck. The management,I didn't need and they said,it wad a mutual agreement,words put in my mouth.i haven't been properly listened to. Deeply disappointed.... Read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Sunny Bay Estate agent recently. Not only were they unprofessional in their conduct, but there were also instances of what I perceived to be racist behaviour. During my interactions with Sunny Bay Estate agents, I found their communication to be lacking in both clarity and professionalism. They were frequently late for appointments and seemed disorganized throughout the entire process. Furthermore, there were concerning incidents where remarks were made by Ms Lucy that I found to be racially insensitive and inappropriate. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of my background or ethnicity. I strongly advise anyone considering working with Sunny Bay Estate agent to proceed with caution. Their unprofessionalism and apparent disregard for basic standards of decency are unacceptable. I hope that they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their services and behaviour in the future.... Read more

I really enjoyed renting from SunnyBay - I was renting a room in West London for around 1.5 years. They were very helpful, especially in times of pandemic, which is something that you can't always say of other agencies. They are a small one, that's true, but it also means they treat you in a more bespoke way. Overall, it was a good experience - just give them a call or visit their office, they will definitely find time.
