Rubbish for sales. Called for a viewing which got cancelled and rescheduled twice. This took so long that when the day of the viewing arrived, the property already got an offer and they cancelled the viewing 2h before it was supposed to happen. All the employees seem very young and not experienced in sales.

Abby Doig is the worse sales or letting negotiator we ever had something to do with
SUGGEST EVERYONE TO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS AGENCY
When we call the agency to speak to her she is there but she doesn’t wanna talk and they actually don’t pass the phone to her so she can’t be the only bad one in the agency .
Her colleagues have repeatedly told us ; we’ll let her give you a call first thing as she gets free ( been waiting for 10 days and been making over 5 calls but nothing yet and that’s why of my review today .
We have emailed,called ,made 2 offer and never heard back while as today we only have 10 days left in our property as the notice was given straight away after we got reassured from Abby the flat would have been available.
10 left and no where to go for us at the moment and we surely understand this agency don’t care about other people but apparently they don’t care taking about completing their work .
They still get paid at the end of the month that’s why they don’t care at all about their customers .
Abby and colleagues from the bottom of my heart I hope you’ll treated in the same disrespectful way you guys treated us . Karma does exists . Good luck and EVERYONE AVOID THOSE PEOPLE FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND .

DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY!! After putting a holding deposit on a property, Abby started to ignore my calls/emails. I have been calling the agency for weeks to get my money back, and everytime they tell me that I will get my money back today but finance is not available at the moment!!! However I am still waiting !!

We had problems from the VERY FIRST DAY of our tenancy and it never improved.
They do not listen to concerns and drag out maintenance, even when potentially dangerous.
They lie and make up conversations that have never happened.

Had a viewing booked and confirmed, turned up and waited for twenty minutes before receiving a phone call asking if we were still attending and that an agent called Abby should be there within ten minutes. We waited 25. No one showed up. No word of acknowledgment or apology followed afterwards either. So unprofessional.

I went to view a property which went quite well. But then it all went downhill. I made sure I called early the next Monday to request an offer form which they said they’ll be sending but it wasn’t sent so I called again by the end of the day and finally got it. I called and emailed everyday to follow up the offer but agent wasn’t there and always got passed around. I finally received a call to find out the offer was refused.
I’m writing this because I’ve noticed stark differences from another letting agent from a different company to where I just recently secured a heavily sought after property. He gave advice and tips on how to make an offer to the landlord so I’ll have a good chance of getting accepted.

For viewing the agent essentially just opened the door and I checked around myself. After I was told I’d be contacted, they didn’t put in my offer until I chased several times. The impression was that nothing would be done unless I called. During the call when my offer was finally made, or so I was told, I had no real confirmation of that other than, “I have”
During the time I was waiting for landlord to respond to offer, at least that’s what I was told I was waiting for, I made calls and emails no responses to emails or call backs even though Simon said I would be called back “shortly” after meetings. The only response I got to my emails was that it had been given to someone else and no feedback was given on that. I think having, or even landlords having a preference for tenants according to various qualities and agents qualifying according to these is part of the job. I know as I’m an agent myself. But not even explaining what’s happening, giving the impression a tenant is just being ignored or being treated less importantly without explanation, especially during something that can be stressful like moving house is not got practice in my opinion.

Terrible service. Would have to call a few times to get them to reply to my emails.
Made a huge mistake with the service charge where it was listed as per annum but it turns out it was per 6 months. Falsely accused us of being the ones who had made the mistake and said that they had voice recordings when they clearly didn't. Would not recommend at all.

An agency in which the agent deceives a potential tenant. I was with my fiancée meeting an agent named Alex. at the meeting, talking to him, he assured us of a complete renovation of the kitchen and bathroom because they are in a terrible condition (it's about the apartment on SW20 BUSHEY ROAD). after a few days after viewing the apartment, the agent stopped replying and answering the phone. when I went to the agency to talk to him, his colleagues told me that: 1. nothing would be done there 2. the agent didn't tell us the truth 3. The agent named Alex had no idea what was in the apartment and what wasn't there. besides, when we asked him when the renovation of the kitchen and bathroom would start, he replied that a holding deposit had to be paid and he stopped answering questions related to what he told us while viewing the apartment and avoided the topic.
I will never try to rent any property from such a fraudulent agency again

I can’t explain just how bad this estate agency is. We had many problems whilst renting that were not fixed. Lack of communication. Safety issues that were never addressed. Very good at asking for you money but when it comes to the welfare of their tenants could not care less. Even spoken to the law centre for legal advice and they told us to get out of the property asap and still waiting for our deposit back with nothing more than being told ‘they’ve forward it on to finance.’ Out of all the properties I’ve lived in this is, by far, the worst estate agency. I would not use them again to rent a house from.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company in the process of having 1, single house viewing....
They proceeded to drop me in the last +-20mins ahead of the viewing THREE TIMES, then on the 4th and final time, I phoned up just to clarify something, only to find out (20mins before once again) that they couldn't do the viewing AGAIN? What would have happened if I hadn't called?
Absolute time wasters... Don't waste yours!

Not only did they double book a viewing with myself and another prospective tenant, they then didn't even bother to turn up to it, nor contact myself or the other viewer to let us know why. When we tried to phone there was no answer. Never mind the fact I had to phone three times on the day to get the viewing confirmation, which was then sent in broken English. Comically incompetent time wasters. Wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Avoid at all costs.

Do not rent from them! We moved to filthy flat!! Rats in the garden! They asked us to take a picture of the rats and deal with it ourselves! We are waiting for deposit back - 2nd month now!

Absolute horrible experience. My first viewing appointment was cancelled 40 mins before because the tenants suddenly decided they didnt want to let us in. Whilst annoying, not the agents fault. I had however taken the day off work to view the property. The viewing was then rescheduled to the following Monday (i again had to change workshifts). I rang the agency 1 hour before to check all was going ahead after the last experience and this was confirmed to me over the phone. Upon arriving however, i was left standing for 30 minutes... with no sign of the agent. I called the office and was told that the agent had instead gone to the garage with her car! The agent on the phone however assured me she would be on her way shortly. So 55 minutes in the wind and rain and still no sign. So i rang again and was told SHE WASNT EVEN COMING! she told me that because she had no car, she had no way of getting to me... aparently it was too difficult to catch a bus, send someone else or even inform me! The unprofessionalism is too much! I pied off rescheduling it YET AGAIN and will never use this company ever again. Imagine if you needed a dishwasher fixed... you'd be waiting a year!

I finally did not take a flat from them. When I contacted them, their reply was slow. Thus I called them. Denize who attended my call give me a personal touched service. She response was very in time and coordinated efficiently my viewing. She also gave ma a lot of information which helped me to make a decision and necessary calculation. Though I finally wanted to live in the area that they don't cover, if you look for a property in Wimbledon, I recommend that you contact Denize!

I don't usually write reviews but I don't wish anyone to pass through the same situation I did.
Found a flat I was interested in and gladly paid deposit and signed the contract for renting and moving in the end of February. Said flat had a tenant that basically never moved in there, left only a couple of boxes with shoes and forced the landlord to take the furniture in there (as it previously was advertised as a furnitured flat). Prior to moving in we asked the agency to give us the layout of the house and my flatmate was the one who had to go there to get measurements when I'd like to believe the agency itself should have been the one to get the measurements for us.
Less than a week of us moving in, we get a call of urgency about how the current tenant decided they would stay in the flat.
I don't understand why they advertised the house in the first place and allowed us to sign a contract when this could have happened. That tenant is someone who gave them more than enough trouble, and while they were protected by their contract, it's ridiculous how this was allowed to happen. Luckily we were able to not get kicked out of our current flat, but I find the situation very upsetting and how they made James shoulder everything by himself. We got our deposit money but are still owed money for the moving van and I don't feel much urgency of them to get that money as "they need to talk to their manager" for weeks. I still sent an email suggesting we would still be up to find another flat through them, but now decided to simply not to work with them anymore.
I'm leaving this review for people to be careful and be 100% sure they will not sign a contract for a house they'll never move in to and waste time and money for nothing, like I did. I'm unfortunately very disappointed, while it's not entirely the agency fault, I felt a lot of lack of interest in finding a solution.

What I like about them is the simplicity of their service, with no hidden costs, unlike with the majority of agencies I've been dealing with who will charge astronomical fees. Also, they are good for the tenants who don't have to pay any commission, like they would with other agencies.

I highly recommend noting that the 5* are from the company or its owner Tara Rex. Update a large portion of the 5 stars happened in quick succession...looks quite obviously to be review rigging.
Who Allows landlords not to pay for repairs. And left me without a fully working boiler for two years.

I had to chase at every step. Wanda from rental and sales worked at a slow speed. I made an offer for renting a flat and more or less it was immediately accepted. I had to email to check references were confirmed, how I paid my money owed, how to view the contract again and when the move in date was. She was slow.
Others at rentalandsales (James and Max) helped me to chase things a little quicker hence a slightly higher rating.
I have just moved in and there are little niggling issues with the property but of course, Wanda has not emailed me back regarding when my inventory will be sent out. I have photographs regarding dirty carpets, chipped cupboards and lots of broken blind cords.
Also, having previously rented, I have always had my own DPS reference to enable me to log on and check where my deposit money is. Having read some Google reviews, I'm concerned that this is not the case.
Anyway, over the course of the lease I hope everything goes ok, and that the issues mentioned before are not going to continue.
UPDATE: Had a broken window handle on a window that blows open wide at 11am on Sunday. I reported on tenant zone and rang immediately. They've sent to the maintenance team and nothing still 3 hours later. The window is blown wide open and is a huge security risk, I do not feel safe staying here tonight. The emergency procedures you follow need to be looked at. You are supposed to attend to emergency repairs asap and this is definitely not quickly. What does my rent payment go towards?

My relationship with Rentals&Sales started few years back with an amazing place to live they've provided me with. I've never had any issues, staff was always nice and approachable and I would definitely like to stay in touch in case I'd be planning to move back into the area. So far it's the best letting agency I've been in touch with and I can't express how sad I am that our relationship comes to an end. I can strongly recommend them with full confidence of them not letting you down, ever.

All questions answered in minutes not days and the whole process was extremely smooth.
Particular mention to Afrahim who was very good at communicating updates and negotiating with the landlord on my behalf, most certainly would recommend reaching out to him and the team.

Yes! I have a home from next week in Wimbledon! Thanks to the amazing staff from Rental and Sales. They are super friendly and helpful. They really care for their customers. They work extremely quickly. I've never seen such a professionalism and social care from an agency (and this is my ninth move within four years in London, so I've seen many agencies). If you need to rent or buy in SW London: contact them! They should use the motto: the rental and sales agents who care about you!

Very friendly and helpful. Unique personal touch! They do rentals and sales not only to make a profit but to really help people! They really care for their clients. I have been with many rental agents in the past but you will not find such a strong social focus in any other estate agencies. I cannot recommend them enough.

The WORST estate agents. We moved out of our property in Mitcham CR4 on the 10th August. We STILL haven’t got our deposit money back! They’re currently withholding £1170 from me and my partner. I’ve phoned and they said the finance people should have released it and they’ll get back to me by the end of the day. Heard nothing

Absolutely awful. Rentals & Sales are the reason why estate agents have such a bad reputation. Reluctant to address or fix issues, they just want money without the effort. Would not recommend to a landlord or tenant.

Rentals and Sales are extremely unprofessional and unreliable. On their website they state the following:
Our client base has always grown predominantly by recommendation. We believe this is because our aim has always been to put our customers needs and requirements at the heart of all that we do. -THIS IS UNTRUE FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
All they care about is money. Not about any needs or requirements or repairs and they will find any excuse to raise rent or charge you.
I strongly recommend you do not rent from this so called estate agent, they only cause stress and are extremely rude and arrogant.
