Richard from Tathams Cardiff has sold three properties for me in 2 years, my home and 2 buy to lets. He, along with Catrin, have been really professional and friendly, going well above what I expected and stopping me panicking when I had buyers pull out and a nightmare solicitor to deal with. They chased things for me constantly and were always on the end of the phone with down to earth advice and reassurance. They got a good price for my properties and found the right buyers (who were not necessarily the ones offering the most). They didn't ignore me once the sale was agreed but were always there right up until completion, always listening and responding to my endless worrying. It's been a long journey and I am SO glad I didn't use an online agent as I was considering. They earned their money on all 3 properties and I would not hesitate in using them again. Thank You :D

I was drawn to using Tathams after following their Instagram page and was so impressed with their way of marketing property. It really is eye catching. I used them to manage my rental property for a while before going on to sell. Nick and his team managed the rental and were responsive to all of my queries, and any issues at the property were dealt with in a seamless and timely manner. The sale was then dealt with by Richard and this process was made to be totally stress free (for me anyway) even with extremely difficult buyers. I am in the process of purchasing a flat through Tathams and have found them to be very professional, friendly and helpful. In particular, Nia, has been really good and quickly answers all my queries and concerns. Shes also proactive and i do feel that she goes the 'extra mile' in trying to progress this purchase. It makes me feel confident that we're going to get to completion sooner rather than later. Its easy to be quite cynical about estate agents but Nia blows that away.
In the future, i would certainly consider using Tathams when i eventually sell the flat.

We sold through Tathams and completed on our house today. Their marketing was absolutely second to none, completely obsessed with the Instagram reel they made for us! Following a super successful open house we received multiple offers achieving over our asking price, we couldn’t have been happier. Following the sale Rob and Rich were in constant contact providing updates where needed on the progress of our sale, and assisted no end in chasing when we experienced some delays and stress caused by the top of the chain. If we ever move again we would 100% be going back to Tathams without hesitation.

I would highly recommend Tathams to anyone looking to sell their property. They are super knowledgeable, professional and will take the time to market your house carefully and intelligently. Something else I really liked is that they don’t just insist on calling you all the time - as a busy working mum of a toddler, it was great to just chat on WhatsApp at the end of the day. In terms of aftersales, they took the time to support us through a bit of a tricky situation during the stressful final few stages of conveyancing which I immensely appreciated - Richard has the patience of a saint and knows how to deal with people. I first met Richard Tatham back in 2017 (AKA Online Agent Cardiff before they changed brand name to family name) when we were buying our first home and he was absolutely superb. Kept me updated at every stage of the buying process, answered all of my questions and nothing was too much trouble. Over the next years, I'd intermittently bother him with queries about the market and he came out and valued our house in 2020 but we decided it wasn't the right time to sell. Again, this was no worries, super laid back.
Fast forward to Dec 2023, Richard valued the house again and we put it up for sale. We needed a quick sale as we'd found a new home we loved and wanted to get an offer in, so we were on short turnarounds for getting it listed. We had the photos and videography taken on the Tuesday, the property was listed by Thursday and we sold on Friday for above asking. Unbelievable! Tathams absolutely know their stuff, there is nothing more you could ask for.
Approachable, professional, highly competent and competitively priced - 10/10 on all counts.

Rich was fantastic from first meeting to completion. He’s friendly and approachable and makes you feel as though no job is too much trouble or no question is too silly. The photographer was great and we were really impressed with the pictures. OAC promoted the property on social media and I think this is what sets them apart from other estate agents; they generated a lot of interest in a short period of time through Instagram/ Facebook etc. as well as the usual property apps. We had a full day of viewings booked in a few days later. This was all taken care of by Rich. He then negotiated the best price for us and the best buyers for our circumstances. Rich kept in contact throughout the process and was easy to get hold of anytime and very approachable. I would highly recommend OAC if you’re intending to sell your property!

What appealed to me about them originally was the way they use social media in the marketing of the property.
My original buyer pulled out after 5 months and Rich was able to find me a good quality buyer (cash buyer) within a day of re-listing.

After trying to use Richard & the team a couple of years ago to sell my property in the Cotswolds we were both considerably messed around by my purchaser who pulled out on the day of exchange and messed things up for us both. Fast forward almost 4 years later and as soon as I was to sell my house, albeit confident i could do it myself, I a) wanted to repay Richard for that business and b) knew he would take what is inevitably always a considerably stressful time and make it a 1000 x less stressful. Between Richard, Nick and the team. As a property photographer Richard put his business trust in myself to capture the images and he secured me a cash buyer in no less than 4 days. When things inevitably got stressful, Nick & Richard both have their brilliant ways of making things very calm and ensuring both the buyer and the seller at looked after. I’ve dealt with too many estate agents who don’t have the personal & genuine caring touch that these brothers have and if you are in the Cardiff or surrounding areas and in need to buying or selling your property I would highly and strongly recommend Online Agent Cardiff to take care of things for you at a competitive and worthwhile price.
Being self employed myself I know that reputation is everything and I can’t stress again how well this company is doing - pick OAC for your next sale ????????

Rich & Catrin seemed nice enough initially however down the line & after a few complications, it came to light that we were verbally misrepresented information. My elderly parents are not savvy in this area & neither am I. Not fully understanding the terms & conditions, we put our trust in Catrin, asking direct questions relating to the contract & commitment being made before signing. We were given an answer that turned out to be inaccurate and that would later cost us just over £2000 as we were bound by the contract.
To be ok with giving inaccurate information to an elderly couple (one of whom has Alzheimer’s) & later be ok charging them a fee/penalty as a result, says a lot. We trusted we would get the support we needed & there were plenty of opportunities to inform us of the information we required as we made further commitments through the process.
To be fair & completely transparent, Rich halved the fee (penalty) that he initially wanted to charge but only after our challenge & in-depth chat.
Just our experience but we would of course never use this company again & will continue to warn people of our experience with Online Agents Cardiff.

I’ve recently bought my first home through Online Agent Cardiff and couldn’t fault them. Catrin provided a brilliant service: chasing solicitors, providing updates and responding extremely promptly to all queries. Be careful! They say that mortgage in principle agreement is not accepted and they will tell you that their mortgage advisor needs to go with Natwest because they have better deal.
Also been told there is no chain and we can move in straight away, but we waited for more than 6 months!!! The property had plumbing issues etc so I don't think the survey had been done either which was paid for. I will not use this company again.

I’ve just completed the sale of my flat via Online Agent Cardiff, and can’t recommend them enough. I previously had my property with another agent where I had a sale fall through and a number of no shows. I’d seen the success that Online Agent Cardiff was having through their social media page and contacted Richard. He was honest and gave me some good advice to help with the sale of the property.
The property went on Rightmove at 8pm by 10am the following day I had a phone call asking if we could do an early bird viewing that day and by 4pm I had two offers which included one above asking price.
Richard is great he really knows his stuff and makes sure he knows the property inside out.

We were treated like VIP's from the moment we contacted them and ensured that they would do everything they could to help us secure the house. We were the first to view and then offer negotiations were handled fairly and promptly. We were kept informed by them of the matters affecting the entire chain, not just the house we were purchasing, something the agent selling our old home did not do. Rich Tatham was the agent dealing with us and he was patient and could not have been more helpful the whole way through. Due to COVID the chain took 5 months to complete but we never felt in the dark. I would highly recommend buying a house with Online Agent Cardiff and in future, if we decide to move again, we will list with them also.

What can I say about Richard and the team at OAC that hasn't been said already... not a lot! We were recommended Richard by my parents who also used him and he definitely did not let us down. Throughout the entire process Richard was professional and nothing was too much of an effort for him to help with. Made a booking to view a flat - correspondence was great and the viewing was excellent as the agent was very informative of the property
I liked the property and emailed the agent on the Monday to say that I just needed to confirm my mortgage offer and would get back to them later in the week with an offer- of which a prompt reply came back to say this was fine
Later in the week I emailed the agent and made an offer - to my dismay they came back to say that the property had been sold - I was rather disappointed. I felt the agent should of contacted me to say that they had received an offer out of common curtesy especially as I had emailed on the Monday to show my interest - but it’s something they never did.

Following various appraisals on our property we found Nick & Rich to be very honest and they gave excellent advice on maximizing the sale-ability. I was thoroughly impressed with their marketing strategy which lead to 17 viewings after 2 days of going live, from this we achieved a sale over guide price.
Throughout the process Rich was very attentive and professional and I would recommend O.A.C to anyone who is interested in selling/letting a property.

I reluctantly had to ask Online Agent Cardiff to sell my 3 bed in Pontprennau. Circumstances dictated that I could no longer keep it and previous attempts with mortgage brokers proved difficult. Nick and Richard came around and were really complimentary of it which was lovely. We sat in the living room, with me telling them how much I didn’t actually want to sell it but I had no option. They both looked at each other and told me to speak with Joe, their mortgage broker friend. He was young and enthusiastic and they said I shouldn’t give up on remortgaging until I’d spoken to him. Rich arranged for Joe to call the next day, and the long and short of it is that I’m now writing this from the same living room of my recently remortaged property (and one which is now at a great rate!)
You may think this should be a review of Joe, (who I’d also highly recommend!) but in actual fact I want to commend Rich and Nick for seeing beyond lining their own pockets with a guaranteed sale and for recognising that I really didn’t want to sell it. They did all they could to keep me in my property and for that I will be forever grateful!
I’ve also asked them to let and manage another property too and they’ve done a great job there as well. It’s always a good sign of property management when you’ve never met nor needed to speak directly with your tenants.
