I chose Tom an independent agent over the larger multi agents, because he gave me confidence from the very first meeting that he had a great deal of experience, and was not pushy. He did not disappoint it was a pleasure working with Tom and his team, who were always available to answer questions and give updates. They also helped arrange additional tasks, such as house clearance and reading meters. His hard work resulted in a very quick, stress free sale.. I would highly recommend Tom Ashwood to anyone who wants a hassle free supportive team to sell their property.

Tom Ashwood is by far the best estate agency I have had the pleasure of dealing with and it is all thanks to one unique individual - Harvey Theakston. Harvey contacted me back in January 2024 to come and view a property but at the time, my husband and I were in the process of buying another property on the same street. Unfortunately, the other estate agent and seller messed us around due to tenants inhabiting the property and refusing to move so we made the decision to let this property go. It was at this time that Harvey stepped in, went out of his way to advise me about the situation due to his extensive knowledge with tenants and we decided to view the other property he initially contacted me about advertised with Tom Ashwood. When we viewed this property back in early February 2024, we absolutely fell in love with it, had our offer accepted after Harvey gave us a wonderful tour of the house and I am happy to say, we exchanged contracts yesterday! I have to say that the last 5 months of conveyancing would not have been endurable if it hadn’t been for Harvey’s excellent service. An estate agent’s job is usually to serve the client that they’re selling the house for, but Harvey didn’t just do that- he was also on my side, always a phone call and a WhatsApp message away, even during late hours which makes Tom Ashwood so unique- they’re always available to help at any given time. If it hadn’t been for Harvey going that extra mile for us, we wouldn’t have secured our absolute dream home today. Harvey is also a brilliant mediator; we built such a wonderful rapport with our sellers and we are so privileged to have landed ourselves with such kind and humble vendors. We cannot thank Harvey enough for his genuine kindness and help throughout the entire process. From the get go, we could tell that he is extremely passionate about what he does and that he goes above and beyond to ensure all parties are happy and working in harmony. I can’t thank Tom Ashwood estate agents for coming into our lives at a time when we needed some hope of finding our dream home. Tom Ashwood and his team have been fantastic. Harvey in particular really helped us with all the challenges that come with being part of a chain. Very diplomatic, honest and knowledgeable. I'd definitely approach the team again if we were considering buying or selling in the future.

I have worked with a few Estate Agents now and found Tom Ashwood to be the most professional, helpful and informative. Tom, even though is the owner of the company, gives his personal attention and time making you feel like a valued customer. He is straightforward, frank, and will tell you as it is, rather than play strategy games. Harvey was also very informative, courteous and professional during our house viewings. If you're looking for a property on the Leftley Estate, Tom Ashwood would be the first choice, highly recommended.
