I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H.
The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days!
There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened.
While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation.
As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away.
Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you!

They were professional, caring and Maria, particularly kept me fully informed at every stage by constant telephone calls.However all the staff were extremely professional and compassionate and I would certainly recommend V&H Homes wholeheartedly.

They constantly kept me updated with all enquiries/viewings etc and after we had accepted an offer Dan worked tirelessly to push the sale through. V&H homes were fantastic in securing a buyer for our property within a short period of time and achieving a price that we were happy with. They were by far the most professional at valuation stage and provided useful and insightful information about the pricing of our property. People forget though that agreeing a sale is only the start of the process. Maria Gliddon @ V&H worked tirelessly to push the sale through to exchange of contracts and kept us informed at all stages. Go with Cairds. V&H are very average estate agents, had my property on for 3 months and charged an arm and leg in fees and managed to get couple of bites at a lower price.
In comparison, Cairds are much better, more experienced people doing viewings, friendlier to work with, worked in my interest and provided a lot feedback and market trends. Found V&H did not act in my interest and asking me to lower price to get a quick sale. Paul the owner is a nice chap, but doesn't get involved in day to day viewings or selling.

I am posting this on behalf of my mum, Mandy .
From meeting Paul for an initial consultation to exchange of contracts took less than 6 weeks.
Dan took the lead on the sale of my house and was exceptional, he was even willing to advise me on the purchase of a property in Scotland. Maria must also be mentioned as she was of great help when Dan his day off.
Every member of the team I spoke to or met was extremely professional.
They are driven and will get the job of selling your house done but they also have a very kind personal touch.
I could not speak more highly of V&H homes.

I contacted V&H Homes on the 6th November in regards to a property I was highly interested in. Well I am now in that property! Settled in time for Christmas which is what I really wanted! Tom assisted me from start to finish and was extremely professional but straight to the point which was fantastic! So thank you to Tom at V&H Homes for all of your help and hard work. Myself and my sons are so happy to be settled for Christmas!!!! I highly recommend V&H Homes!!!! :)

I have been renting from V&H Homes for three years and I deal with Tom Batchelor in lettings. Tom is always very professional with a relaxed and friendly approach. Any calls and emails are always answered promptly and efficiently, and I am always kept up to date and informed of developments. I have rented from other estate agents before, but have never received the great service that I have had from Tom and V&H Homes.
