Cannot recommend Churchods Bookham highly enough.
After previously selling our old house via Patrick when he was based in the Cobham office, we’d been so impressed with his level of expertise in the field and his warm and friendly manner, that we did not hesitate when selling our home in Fetcham to use the Churchods Bookham after learning that Patrick had taken over this office.
This time we had Marc selling our property who was fantastic to deal with, always on hand to answer any questions and offer his support with any concerns we had on our sale.
We are extremely grateful for all the hard work Marc has put into selling our home to enable us to move back to where we want to be.

As with many properties i'm sure, we had a couple of issues that came along with the sale of our property. These were dealt with by Lara, John and Amanda with ease.

John, Amanda and Lara sold my late mother's house, a sale which was made more complex by a bereavement in the family during the sales process. The viewings and sales process was handled very sensitively during a difficult time. The team were all fully in the loop and acted proactively with other professionals to ensure the sale completed without avoidable holdups.
Their contacts for house clearance and electrical work were also excellent: they turned up when they said they would, did their jobs and charged what they quoted, something which we do not take for granted.
I would be very happy to use John Wadsworth again.

Easily the best estate agents I have ever encountered. They drive the process all the way through - they are proactive. So many other estate agents are at best responsive and at worst not responsive. In a particularly difficult chain, Lara chased all members of the chain very regularly to ensure the process was expedited as swiftly as possible. They earnt their money. I strongly recommend them.

I sent a website enquiry and was contacted literally immediately and an appointment made the next day. The following morning I had the energy survey done, a walk through video and all details and photographs taken. One day later the viewings commenced ... after 3 days of viewings, which were all hosted by Lara, I had several full price offers. Lara personally checked every offer out thoroughly establishing who had a chain and what positions everyone was in. This was all 4 days before Christmas during a pandemic. Whether you are the buyer or seller, you will be left with the impression that it is your interests that he holds in his mind.
John ably assisted by Amanda and his daughter Lara in this well-run family business kept us regularly informed during the sale of our house, which we had built to our specification 20 years ago, and the purchase of another. We were impressed by the attention given to finding out what was going on with the owners, solicitors, and estate agents right down the chain to know if there would be any likely holdups.
Lara’s excellent video nearly convinced us to stop the sale of our house as it made us think again why we would want to sell it.

17 years ago we bought our house from John and this month we sold our home with John & his family team.
We were very happy with the communication right from the start. We received emails confirming viewings and follow up calls with feedback from Amanda.
Lara did a great job on the visuals to make sure we got our property marketed to its potential, including coming back to retake some shots when the weather was better.
The pricing was spot on (unlike another Estate Agent who recommended we put the house on the market significantly lower and who made a point that they sold properties quickly .. well of course they would !).

After a disastrous experience will another local agent it was a relief to find John. He gave us excellent advice about the minimum investment necessary to bring our old house sufficiently up to scratch to make it attractive. He also helped us price it for 'a quick sale' in these sluggish times. He found a buyer for us within days of it going on the market and nursed them and us through the process with no hitches, and, most importantly for us, no last minute price quibbles. More than once he visited the house to check on works as we live a distance away.

We have recently purchased a property in Westhumble, Dorking using John Wadsworth Estate Agents, Bookham. We were initially introduced to them via Rightmove following a property search. The property which we initially viewed and wanted to make an offer on was snapped up almost immediately and we were left disappointed as we couldn't act quickly due to a linked sale and purchase. We started to lose faith in selling our property and then unbelievably on the very same day that we accepted an offer on our property the one we initially wanted became re- available due to a dropped sale!!! We were thrilled. After a quick phone call to John Wadsworth; we beat them to it by a minute... we arranged another viewing and made an offer which was readily accepted.

Look no further than Wadsworths if you want to buy or sell a house. We have finally just exchanged contracts on a long drawn out sale that just would not have happened without John Wadsworth steering the ship. Throughout the whole process, John & Amanda were extremely proactive and kept us fully informed at all times. Whilst extremely professional as one would expect, they are also really nice people to deal with.
I have moved house 7 times in my life so far and have never before felt motivated to submit a review. Wadsworths have more than exceeded my expectations on this occasion though.
