We work regularly instructing numerous consultants as part of our project team to deliver planning applications from small businesses to major house builders. It is more often than not we are chasing and waiting for project consultants to provide required reports for our cases; not with Vokins. They provide the support and time required, conveying genuine and real value to our projects. A recent example of Vokins exceeding our expectations was on a site in Hounslow, where follow the Council’s request for 12 months’ marketing evidence to release the site to an alternative use, Vokins rebuffed the obligation via a Economic Viability Assessment and not only removed the marketing requirement, but more importantly saved the owner a significant sum in abortive holding costs while the site was marketed for a year. A certain commercial agent based in Hammersmith appeared to me to have the monopoly on the Hammersmith commercial market. I was keen to try evaluate other options when marketing my office space, and Vokins, based nearby in Brentford advised me that their approach and the marketing coverage I would get through using their agency would maximise its exposure in the market place. I also got the impression through their pitch that they would make sure that happened and would be genuinely focused upon delivering a good result. Being from a marketing background, I decided to give Vokins the remit and I have to say that they delivered on their promises. Using proactive marketing, they certainly got people through the door, and they were not tyre kickers: quality people who made good tenants. Within three months the deal had been completed. I contacted Vokins after I came across an office I liked the look of in Brentford. After looking around the office, Peter & Luke suggested I looked round an available industrial unit which was cheaper, larger and better suited to my requirements as a mail order business. My business has since moved into the industrial unit and it's been an absolute success. Being the first commercial space I have ever rented, Vokins were both helpful and patient. With hindsight, I can safely say that moving into the office I was initially interested in would have been a complete disaster and I am very grateful to Vokins for making sure I ended up with a suitable premises. ... We were introduced to Vokins when searching for new office premises. We had a large number of estate agents and surveyors contacting us to advertise their services, but we decided to appoint Vokins. I can safely say that it's been one of the best decisions we've ever made. Not only did John Vokins explain everything to us in a clear and comprehensive manner, he also kept us up to date of the progress and he always responded in a timely and efficient manner. As an added bonus, thanks to his extensive knowledge, he spotted an important factor in our old lease, which meant that we were not liable to pay for dilapidations and that we were actually due compensation. We have recently instructed him again to deal with our local council with regards to an overpayment of rates for our old offices and, again, he's managed to ensure that we receive a larger refund than originally thought.
