I have always found Martin and Kate to be very knowledgeable and refreshingly work very hard to promote 'betterment' for their business and their customers/clients also for the areas where they have properties. I am vouching 100% for the review left by Lorraine Bond. I helped her through a very difficult time; abusive emails, bullying & endless lies. This letting company should not be trading, If 'That's Life' was still on air, I would personally be contacting the show. How many other new businesses will be affected by this dishonest & cowboy set up? I hope our honest reviews get across our frustrations, anger & dismay at how my friend was treated; A local high street commercial letting agency can be allowed to trade??? Really!! Waltons Commercial is not a reputable company to use ..these are the worst lettibg company you could use. I had problems with damp in 4 walls and rottin skirting boards only to be told it's only condensation,it wouldn't affect my business (a sandwich shop).I had an eatery and it affected my business badly due to stock,fresh produce and sandwiches getting thrown away on a daily basis due to the conditions of the building only to be told to wash walls down with bleach and that it won't affect my business even though I run a sandwich bar..which involves food !!!! The stressthey have caused by sending threatening emails and their bully tactics off Waltons and my landlord leave a lot to be desired when renting business premises and I would certainly recommend NOT USING Waltons Commercial as they are bullys and do not solve any issuse that you may have . The building was not fit for purpose as it stood especially the Business I had as a sandwich shop . I had to get a lawyer involved in order to stop their demanding threatening emails asking for stupid amounts of cash to be paid upfront by certain dates upfront and forcing the tenant to pay over 3 and a half months business rates when they are no longer in the premises and expecting innocent people to pay their bills in order to give them time so that don't have to pay their bills properly when it is clear they are liable to pay their rates !!! I wouldn't recommend renting 108 station road,Hadfield until you actually see that all the damp issue and rotting wood has been resolved . The previous tenant also had the same problem with damp and other issues so I would be very carefull before you rent this property . And would be very kind to give written statements too of neddeed. BE AWARE AND DON'T GET FOOLED !!!! THESE ARE NOT NICE NICE PEOPLE!! THE receptionist has a lot to be desired also her telephone manner is shocking, you never get to speak to the man himself in Waltons and they get very aggressive and abusive on emails . I WOULDN'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE !!!THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A ZERO BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE ISN'T A ZERO .... BE WARNED IF YOUR THINKING IF BECOMING A TENANT!!!... Read more
