Brian Beeley acted as my agent through a very challenging sale. His dedication and commitment to customer services were faultless and I subsequently recommended him to neighbours who were looking for an agent. Five star rationing for this agency. Thank you
Worst estate agent experience of my life. Couldn't wait to take the THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY POUNDS admin fee, constantly chasing them for an update on a moving date, managed to get email addresses wrong twice for references and a month after paying this we get told we need a guarantor. I'm a homeowner and will never use any branch of your move thanks to the shocking service of Lynn and the rest of the people at Denton. Will be making a formal complaint
Fantastic professional service and advise by John. Would highly recommend Home estate agents.
I have never known a company like this ! I wouldn't even rate as 1 star if I didn't have to. It was like they were working for our buyers not us selling. I was hassled by phone calls as our buyer wanted to know what was going on (as did we) then asked to ring round chasing other estate agents and solicitors...I'm sure that was what I was paying them to do, each time telling them the whole process was making me ill and I couldn't cope any longer. Then last minute on a Friday night I got an email from our solicitor telling us it had all fell through...not even a courtesy call from home to let us know, then left for a whole weekend upset not knowing what was happening. I would NOT recommend home estates to anyone...stay clear !!! A bad experience and a wasted 5 months.
Hyde taylor & woods sold my house with no problems, perfect transaction in every way, they also found me my new house, from start to completion I was informed step by step, I cannot thank them enough. Very professional/ extremely competitive rates,I would definitely recommend them.
VERY VERY VERY POOR. Asked to view a house no agent called back and then CALL AGAIN to get update, no reply....shocking! It's not hard to keep people updated, must be company policy no to call People back!
Can't recommend Annabelle and her team at On The Move highly enough. They made the process of selling our house so easy and straightforward. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the photos and brochure. Annabelle and Emma were always available to answer our questions and helped keep everything on track until completion. We would not hesitate in using On The Move again.
They Cancelled my appointment last minute as it happens I’d taken the afternoon off work to facilitate. Annabelle promised to re-arrange - unfortunately never did. I Rang again to re-book promised a call back never got one, rang again for an explanation/re-book 3rd time lucky promised a call back by the gentleman and what a surprise still waiting 3 weeks later. Not a good service this to local clients. This was a recommendation from a loyal customer to On the move however delivering this kind of service will negatively impact your business. Your cancellation 10 minutes after the appointment was arranged to take place cost me a wasted afternoon off and promises of call backs has kinda summed up how this business works. Safe to say I’ll use a company more efficient.
Amy and her team at Bridgfords in Hyde are amazing! They have been so helpful, particularly Amy who was always there every step of the way regarding our move. We were signed in with Purple Bricks conveyencing and paid out to use Bridgfords Conveyencing and mortgage team. Special thanks to Deepak, top class! We highly recommend them and are so glad they were part of our moving house journey.
Selling my apartment through Bridgefords has been the biggest mistake of my entire life. Saddest part is that I didn’t realise it at the time. My quality of life has significantly decreased since this time last year.
I initially thought the Bridgefords staff worked efficiently in securing a quick sale. However, in hindsight my property was on the market for a price significantly lower than it was worth. Hence the many viewings I had were on the back of a stunning property on the market for a bargain price and not reflective of any real effort on their part to mitigate the extremely high fees they charge.
I’ve ended up selling to a cash buyer rental investor. A friend of mine spotted the property on Rightmove soon after the sale and I was gobsmacked at the monthly rental income. My buyers are making a killing! I should have hung on to the property as a buy-to-let investment. At no point, was this ever suggested to me. I practically gave my property away and the kick in the teeth is that they even used some of the same professional photos (that I paid for) in their ‘flat to rent’ Rightmove listing.
Bridgefords are significantly more expensive than other local estate agents. I feel duped and have lost a lot of money. I’ve sold a perfectly good apartment and regret moving.
My experience has been a valuable life lesson not to trust anybody and to beware when estate agents charge a flat fee. They really don’t care what price the property sells for; they ultimately only want their fee and if you sell to a buy-to-let investor which allows the property to stay on their books as a rental property, it will be in their interest and will convince you to not accept the best offer in order to encourage a quick sale. I stupidly even gave away high end appliances with the flat. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but there was nothing wrong with the property and I didn’t need a quick sale.
I feel like I wasn’t given the best advice. Although I was paying the high sales fee, I feel like the agents were not working with my best interests. Its as if the agents forgotten who they are actually working for. It’s a sad world we live in that the sale and purchase of valuable assets such as homes seems to bring out the worst in human nature. My experience doesn’t help the general negative perception of estate agents (i.e money-grabbing scum of the Earth). I only wish I had one which valued the wellbeing of clients over their own fees and personal commissions. I sadly didn’t get this at Bridefords and I will forever curse the day I set foot in their branch. My life would be as it was one year ago; a much happier one with money in the bank and working appliances in a beautiful clean home. I sadly gave that all away.
My problem is that I spend all of my life trying to please others. That is a personality quirk that is viewed upon by others as a vulnerability to be exploited.
I’ve thought long and hard for several months before posting this review but I pride myself on my honesty. I have felt great misery since the day I moved out of my flat and feel I should share my opinions. Most positive reviews on here are from buyers. and thought I should share my experience as seller for balance. If you are reading this and are considering selling your property too, then use extreme caution. Im hoping to get my life back on track but will definitely not be making this mistake again.
By far the best service I've received within the rental market. My house is well maintained. Always at hand when I need advice. Very efficient and knowledgeable team. They are always very courteous and friendly and handle everything in a very professional and efficient manner. They communicate clearly and effectively, which is always appreciated.
The girls in the Hyde office are fantastic (Wendy and Gaynor), very experienced and always kept me updated whenever I needed to know where things were up to. I would highly recommend them whenever I'm looking to buy or sell again.
