Very Good at getting viewers and buyers. But the back office administration team is poor they found me a buyer. I was informed at the start of the sale back at the end of January that the buyer had purchased several properties from you and was a cash buyer and that it should go through quickly. We are now in May and it has only just completed.
The buyer of course was not a cash buyer but had a mortgage. Despite this I have not received any feedback from your company as the sale progressed. No information regarding the current position or any updates from their solicitor. I have made endless phone calls initiating contact attempting to find out why this process was taking so long.
Even at the end of the process every time I rang your staff simply mentioned the issue of the extra land at the rear of the property. This issue was addressed by my solicitor with a statutory declaration of adverse possession of land. Including a standard Insurance policy for legal expenses. This was completed in 3 hours yet your staff seemed unable to understand the basic principles of law or conveyance involved.
In this process You advised me that we were near completion when in fact we were not and I asked the tenant to leave for vacant possession. We were still 7 weeks from completion giving me a months loss in rent and the need to pay 2 months council tax.
I will of course not be using your company to sell the other houses in my portfolio and will be leaving feedback online for other sellers to view.
I rented my house from Taylor and wood and would personally like to say a big thank you to Michelle as she helped me get moved in and switch gas and electric supplier and organise the small jobs that needed doing in the house .
VERY VERY VERY POOR. Asked to view a house no agent called back and then CALL AGAIN to get update, no reply....shocking! It's not hard to keep people updated, must be company policy no to call People back!
Had a viewing at 12, had a phone call 20 minutes before going to the viewing to be told that it was cancelled! But received a text an hour before the viewing to wish us luck. So not happy about the customer services provided! Needs working on as a company and need to let others know a days invance. Instead of 20 minutes before a viewing! Isn't good enough!!

Selling my apartment through Bridgefords has been the biggest mistake of my entire life. Saddest part is that I didn’t realise it at the time. My quality of life has significantly decreased since this time last year.
I initially thought the Bridgefords staff worked efficiently in securing a quick sale. However, in hindsight my property was on the market for a price significantly lower than it was worth. Hence the many viewings I had were on the back of a stunning property on the market for a bargain price and not reflective of any real effort on their part to mitigate the extremely high fees they charge.
I’ve ended up selling to a cash buyer rental investor. A friend of mine spotted the property on Rightmove soon after the sale and I was gobsmacked at the monthly rental income. My buyers are making a killing! I should have hung on to the property as a buy-to-let investment. At no point, was this ever suggested to me. I practically gave my property away and the kick in the teeth is that they even used some of the same professional photos (that I paid for) in their ‘flat to rent’ Rightmove listing.
Bridgefords are significantly more expensive than other local estate agents. I feel duped and have lost a lot of money. I’ve sold a perfectly good apartment and regret moving.
My experience has been a valuable life lesson not to trust anybody and to beware when estate agents charge a flat fee. They really don’t care what price the property sells for; they ultimately only want their fee and if you sell to a buy-to-let investor which allows the property to stay on their books as a rental property, it will be in their interest and will convince you to not accept the best offer in order to encourage a quick sale. I stupidly even gave away high end appliances with the flat. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but there was nothing wrong with the property and I didn’t need a quick sale.
I feel like I wasn’t given the best advice. Although I was paying the high sales fee, I feel like the agents were not working with my best interests. Its as if the agents forgotten who they are actually working for. It’s a sad world we live in that the sale and purchase of valuable assets such as homes seems to bring out the worst in human nature. My experience doesn’t help the general negative perception of estate agents (i.e money-grabbing scum of the Earth). I only wish I had one which valued the wellbeing of clients over their own fees and personal commissions. I sadly didn’t get this at Bridefords and I will forever curse the day I set foot in their branch. My life would be as it was one year ago; a much happier one with money in the bank and working appliances in a beautiful clean home. I sadly gave that all away.
My problem is that I spend all of my life trying to please others. That is a personality quirk that is viewed upon by others as a vulnerability to be exploited.
I’ve thought long and hard for several months before posting this review but I pride myself on my honesty. I have felt great misery since the day I moved out of my flat and feel I should share my opinions. Most positive reviews on here are from buyers. and thought I should share my experience as seller for balance. If you are reading this and are considering selling your property too, then use extreme caution. Im hoping to get my life back on track but will definitely not be making this mistake again.
My experience of selling my home with Reeds Rain in Hyde has been outstanding. Communication throughout was excellent and staff responded to all questions in a timely fashion. I would like to mention Gaynor who looked after my sale and who is outstanding in the way she works. Keeping me updated consistently as to the progress of the sale and generally making me feel confident that Reeds Rain were making every effort to make the transaction smooth. We were super happy with Reeds Rains in Hyde and they helped us find the perfect rental for us. However, for us personally, the financial insurance meeting was a waste of time for us and we felt slightly pressured into committing to an insurance policy we did not need nor were eligible for in the end anyway.

Your Move Hyde is great. And that is what my solicitor said as well. The best were Bryan (branch Manager, although only spoke a few times) and Maddy, who was truly outstanding. I am an expert in Customer Services (at luxury brands) from my professional background and wish everyone I worked with was like Maddy. Give her a rise!
I signed up with Your Move in Hyde after not being very happy with my previous agent. I initially met Bryan who's professional and enthusiasm really impressed me. The valuation, pictures and description of the property on the Right Move/Your Move website were really good and really showed off my property in good light. The property went up on the market and within a week, or two we had more viewings that the previous agent arranged in three months! I have been kept constantly updated by the agents in the office, with both Andy and Maddie being fantastic in providing me with the feedback from the viewings. I also found their website a good source of information, as I could view how much my property was being viewed on Right Move and also on their website. I have now sold my house and am really pleased to say I have received the full asking price. The staff in the office have again been great, with Andy, Bryan and Maddie guiding me through the whole sale process.
