He explained in detail how the process of selling works and also buying our next property. He was very informative. The pictures he took were outstanding!! The office staff have kept us updated throughout & again so polite and professional. Lovely people, lovely company!!
30th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION! Myself and my partner moved into 21 Oaklands dene, Hyde. After only have been there less than a month we found that the property had rats! This was a previous issue which had NOT been resolved, Taylor & Wood were not interested and would not help with the situation. We had to call out a private pest control who had to come numerous times, they said that it was one of the worst infestations they had seen, it had also spread into neighbouring homes. Repairs need carrying out on the home to prevent this from reoccurring but again Taylor & Wood were not interested. We managed to get out of the contract after negations but after all the stress and having to moved out as it was not safe to live in and also at the Christmas period. LET THIS BE A WARNING TO ALL AVOID TAYLOR AND WOOD LETTINGS.
30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Poor service. Reached out to them twice by telephone and by email to arrange a house viewing and no response or spoke to staff who were at best disinterested. The lack of availability of property probably means that don't have to work very hard to sell or let with buyers waiting in the wings but at least have the courtesy to respond to enquiries.
25th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)Scam artists , property came on market emailed same day cash buyer was willing to pay over asking price , no reply for over a week , rang week later and was told property is sold and not taking any offers , wonder how much back hander was

6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Gaynor in the Hyde office. An absolute pleasure to speak with. Gaynor took the time to explain the local market on both buyer and seller side, best strategy to secure viewings after a few frustrations of missing viewings due to high demand and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. Would highly recommend calling Gaynor in the office and not going via the website. Dealt with Liz at Marple office what a star she went the extra mile in everything she did kept in touch as soon as she knew anything what she didn't know she would go that extra mile to find out, couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend Lawlers to anyone. Thanks again Liz
26th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Avoid at all costs. This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property. Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

A very smooth and professional process from start to finish, with regular updates and always available to answer questions. Much better service and local market knowledge than an online estate agent could offer. Highly recommended
