Megan Marriott came to the house and clearly had a good understanding of the local market, she valued the property, took pictures and was even able to advertise it on the rental market the same day! She was very professional and took the time to explain the whole process to me. Great service, would definitely recommend.

28th Nov 2025 (8 weeks ago)All the staff at Hunters went above and beyond to assist me in buying my home, if I needed to visit the house to measure the rooms or check for things Hunters were a phone call away and were only too quick to allow me in the house, they kept in touch throughout the process and kept me informed throughout, on completion they presented me with my keys to my new forever home and a welcome package and a bottle to celebrate when settled in, little touches mean a lot, Thank you to all of you at Hunters. Shaun.

Came out on a couple of occasions to let me view the property again before completion so that I could show loved ones. Made further enquiries of the sellers for additional information when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend ????

9th Nov 2025 (11 weeks ago)Our experience with this estate agent, and in particular with Joanne, was extremely disappointing from start to finish. As buyers, we were made to feel like we weren't a priority, when it was clearly implied that her main responsibility was to the seller rather than providing a fair and professional service to both parties. We did everything requested of us promptly and with patience, but even basic communication was difficult, because her tone was often passive-aggressive and condescending, which made the process unnecessarily stressful, and actually really upset me a lot at times! On multiple occasions, we were pressured to complete tasks urgently, even when we were already working as quickly as possible. The final stages of completion were particularly frustrating, as Joanne was completely unreachable on the day - a moment that should have been exciting for us as first-time buyers. Thankfully, our solicitors stepped in to resolve the issue. However, the final straw was Joanne’s audacity in accusing me of being a liar and making inappropriate comments about others in the process. Her complete lack of respect and accountability is concerning and incredibly frustrating! I advise others to be cautious before dealing with this agency.

22nd Jan 2026 (3 days ago)Our experience of Ryder and Dutton was to buy / put an offer on a property. We have been speaking with Robyn Roberts throughout the whole experience. We felt assured knowing that she would update us whenever required. At one point, whilst I was working and had to put an offer in, she called my partner on my behalf and updated her which was above and beyond. Would recommend as she was friendly, quick and helpful throughout the process.

18th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)The team at Thomas Lardner made selling my dad's house after he passed away very easy with no problems whatsoever. It was a difficult time, but the professional and efficient staff at the Romiley office made the sale of the house so easy. From the moment I walked into the office, they were so helpful, they were always on hand for any questions and would reply to emails within minutes! If only all estate agents were like this. 10/10.- 8th Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)If I could give less I would, they contracted me after I put my house on with someone else, not sure where they got my details from. I said no as I had a bad experience with Bridgefords before. Didn't ask what this was, but talked over me asking if I knew what cooling off meant so I could drop the estate agents I was already with! Despite me asking them to not contact me again, continued to send me post and call. Awful.

They provided updates at every stage of the process (as they promised they would do) which gave me the confidence they were on top of everything from the start. Reeds Rains provided me with a professional, friendly and efficient service. I can highly recommend 5*****

Laura was always contactable, professional and helpful, and we would consider Reeds Rains in the future.- 26th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Avoid at all costs. This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property. Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.
6th Jan 2026 (19 days ago)We picked Country Holmes in Glossop to sell our home for us and we weren't disappointed, a huge thank you to Ginene and Mataya for making this journey as smooth as it could be and thank you to all the other members of the team who helped along the way. I was impressed from the get go, the presentation Ginene gave us right at the start was personalised to our home, which was missing from other estate agents I have worked with in the past or ones we had approached when deciding on which estate agent to use. Selling a house is very stressful but, I felt it was definitely less stressful having Ginene and Mataya looking after things for us, always following up when needed, keeping us up to date and supporting when things were a little bumpy, not to mention the great recommendation of a solicitor, who was equally as fantastic and a superb photographer. Thanks again for all you're help, we would definitely recommend you to anyone in need of an estate agent. Andy and David ????
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Sarah O’Brien performed the valuation and I appreciated the information she had preprepared and advice she gave. Her approach was the deciding factor in why I chose A Wilson. I was lucky in that my sale was swift and straightforward and I found everyone in the office including Sarah Connolly extremely helpful and friendly. Every time I had need to call my query was dealt with and followed up, communication was brilliant and they kept the process moving. I found everyone very efficient and they did everything I needed very quickly. The whole team made what could have been a stressful experience very smooth and quick. I would recommend A Wilson to anyone selling their home and I am very happy with my decision to use them.
19th Jan 2026 (6 days ago)Since Hibbert Homes took over management of our rented property, we have had nothing but excellent service, particularly from Lauren Arnfield! In the last few months we have had a new kitchen fitted, decorating done, and also general maintenance. Lauren has constantly kept in touch with us so we knew exactly what was happening and when. Tremendous service - thank you Lauren and all at Hibberts!

10th Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)Paul has been phenomenal throughout this entire process, Paul clearly knows how to sell houses as following his advice throughout he managed to secure an offer above asking on the first day of viewings! But that's only half the story, Paul continued to provide top notch service throughout the remainder of the process, providing advice on my purchase, explaining all next steps, checking in to see how everything was going, liaising between myself and the buyer in a prompt modern and professional manner, assisting in chasing solicitors (as we all know what they are like!) and recommending other services such as constructional surveys. Paul was transparent throughout, you know how much you are paying before you even sign the dotted line and there were no hidden fees. Honestly, I can't sing Paul or ewe move's praises enough! They made what is normally a stressful process seemless and worry free. I challenge anyone to try and find the same dedication and service from any other estate agents! Ewe move will be the only estate agents I will ever recommend or use again. Professionalism, contemporary solutions, dedication, transparent seemless service and communication, stellar customer service, this is what you get when you choose ewe move!!

10th Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)NEEDED TO RENT AN APARTMENT.FOUND ONE IN PADFIELD,VIDEO WAS FORGOTTEN,EXCUSE,WE ARE HUMAN. APPLICATION FORM COULDNT BE OPENED.FOUR DAYS LATER WE MANAGED TO FILL IN APPLICATION FORM,BUT TOO LATE LANDLORD HAD ALREADY FILLED THE APARTMENT. WE THEN WERE DIVERTED TO AN APARTMENT AVAILABLE AT KINDERLEE. ON MONDAY WE WERE APPROVED,PAID THE £230 HOLDING FEE,WITH MOVE IN THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY,LUNCHTIME. HAVING HEARD NOTHING BY 2PM ON THE FRIDAY,I RANG JORDAN FISHWICK FOR AN UPDATE? WOOPS THE APARTMENT HAD MOLD IN AT LEAST TWO AREAS.AND ALTHOUGH FURNISHED,WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE TWO BEDS HAD NO MATTRESSES!! FURTHERMORE,WE COULD NO LONGER MOVE IN THAT DAY,BUT WITH LUCK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY,AFTER CLEANING. WE WERE ADVISED TO CHECK IN AGAIN AT THE TRAVELODGE(£70/NiGHT) NOT WANTING THE ADDITIONAL COSTS,WE CANCELLED,AND RENTED SOMEWHERE ELSE. 10 DAYS LATER I STILL AWAIT THE REFUND OF THE £230 HOLDING FEE. RUBBISH,AVOID,GO ELESWHERE!
