After getting no where for weeks with our existing agent we decided to change to Wards of Sheerness, from the get go they were excellent, they arranged an Open House viewing for the weekend after we went live and within a matter of days we had 5 viewings arranged, from those 5 viewings we received 4 offers, and we are now Sold STC to first time buyers, from listing to accepting an offer was about 3 weeks total. I do have one major regret, my only regret was that I didn't choose Wards of Sheerness to market my property first! but we live and learn.

Wards Sheerness provided a very good service. Wards have a monopoly of the market in Kent, most houses are advertised through them. I was able to view a number of properties in the area on the same day and it was very easy to set up. A contractor from the Estate agent (her name escapes me) was there at a few properties I saw, she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area which helped as I am not from the area.
Sharnie Langford from the sheerness office has also been very helpful in the purchasing process. Philip Abrahart was very helpful and rectified a number of issues that I encountered along the way.
I also used the broker that was recommended, happy with the service provided from the broker. Although I did use the same lender as my AIP that I obtained before contacting the broker. Great customer service from Lyndsey Morgan.
I would definitely use Wards Sheerness again.

Wards have been informative throughout the sale of the property, sending emails and updates. I wasn't expecting this, from past experience, so this was nice and refreshing. I was usually able to get hold of someone who could help with any matters and concerns, unlike other estate agents, who seem to tells 'porky pies' about not being in the office when they are but don't want to talk to you. Yes... we can tell.
There was just one thing that I have removed 1 star for, and that was.....
At the beginning when selling the property, within a month of no luck of finding a buyer the office were telling me to reduce the price, which obviously benefits Wards as they get it sold quicker and get paid. However, I did not reduce and kept it the same, where I eventually sold it, and did negotiate a small drop with the buyer. Had we reduced the sale price, its possible that we would still had to negotiate a further drop in price as buyers always like to bag a bargain. That would have been 2 price drops instead of the 1.
Otherwise, very pleased with the service. And I would always recommend using Matin Tolhurst to do your conveyancing. Excellent service from them, used several times.

I can’t even give 1 star to wards at sheerness. The communication is beyond awful. To this day they completely miss sold the house to us. Half the time they had no idea what was going on. We bought a new build and was told we would be moving in April 2023. This got delayed until December 2023 in the end. They would lie and tell us incorrect information. In particular Joanna was awful, we had to chase stuff (e.g certificates) which we were then told by the actually people issuing them that wards just hadn’t bothered to chase. Absolutely horrendous experience. Worst mistake of our lives buying through them. To this day we are finding things out like having to apply for a parking permit to park at our own property which we should have been told about when purchasing the property.

My partner and I are currently going through Wards in Sheerness as first time buyers, purchasing our first home. Our agent is Kieran and we both have to say that he has been absolutely brilliant so far. From the initial call with arranging a property viewing, to having our offer accepted and the process starting to roll out. Each time we've called, he's been there to answer our queries kindly, and in a very helpful, professional manner. Emails have been responded to straight away and his advice with services to use throughout the process, we agreed and took the offer up on which I will have to admit, I was a bit unsure of whether to do at first but can confidently say that I'm very happy we did and this has made our own process very smooth . I would also like to add that the receptionist who sometimes answers our calls (if it doesn't go through directly to Kieran), has been very helpful as well. I would recommend Wards in Sheerness and would also add that my partner and I feel like we're being looked after in very capable hands.

From the 1st time my Sister and I met Phil we were impressed how professional and knowledgeable he was. Phil always returned our calls promptly to answer any queries we had and always looked into any hiccups that arose with knowledge and calmness! It was quite a long process due to lockdowns and staff working from home but if Phil wasn’t available another member of the branch would assist or refer it to Phil if unsure. Claire Wood came to evaluate my property, she answered all my questions and had a clear strategy of how to market our house. Seen many estate agents, I was sceptic but for my surprise, everything worked exactly as she said. Our house was sold in 2 weeks and on full price. Tried to buy a house from them and was told that I had to use there apparently local solicitor. was also told that I would only get to see houses that have come to the market after people who are using the solicitors and mortgages that they want you to use. I’ve been to quite a few Estate Agents and even worked in the business myself, seeing both sides so I know how frustrating the experience can be as a customer, but know the reasons why as a worker.
Didn’t have that at all with this branch. Very reliable, friendly and definitely felt like a valued customer that they always had time for. Never had to chase them up for anything and any time I needed something they either gave it to me straight away or phoned me back in minutes. None of this “we’ll let you know” and then never call you back rubbish.
Even when dealing with the seller to secure a deal it was a very swift process that happened over 10 minutes.
Shoutout to Glenn Harris; remarkably professional chap that was there every step of the way to securing my family home. Thank you very much

fantastic service from Phil Louis Claire and Owen and Danielle and their viewing guides, well all the team at wards sheerness who handled the sale of my late nans property for my dad ... from start to finish they have been wonderful ... from Phil seeing myself and my dad way back in March when nans bungalow was valued, he was so sensitive to our family's loss and gave us some first class professional advice . the team did all the viewings for us and generated more interest then I would of expected and secured us an offer 10k above the guide price... we used wards recommended solicitors and the conveyancing process was very smooth.. thank you to all the team for your efforts we will never forget your kindness and professionalism in handling our sale

The worst estate agents I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
They charge money for substandard photographs, arrange supposed views and no one turns up.. and are inflexible unhelpful and impossible to contact because nobody in the sheerness office answers the phone.
I also took a day off work to view a properly listed by them and waited almost 2 hours outside before finding out the agent wasn't coming.
Avoid this branch.
We eventually listed our house with an independent estate agent across the road called Rule & Rule and it sold within 2 weeks.
Ward & partners are incompetent at best.

My daughter is buying a house through Ward and Partners Sheerness they have been the most unhelpful estate agent we have ever dealt with.
My financial advisor my conveyancing agent and myself can never get through to sheerness branch as they very rarely answer the phone.
Had to take a day off work to go to the sheerness branch to get things sorted they were very rude and didnt want to help.
I would definitely avoid the sheerness branch very inferior service.

Where do I even start. They lied to us and to customers who potentially wanted to buy our house! They had no excuse why. I didn’t like them from the start but thought we would give them a chance and they proved me correct they don’t care how they treat people. Do not go with these time wasters! They have wasted our time!

Worst estate agent on the island - totally corrupt & deal with a builder ‘Searle’ who builds houses that are death traps but they won’t tell you that!!!
The manager is useless - still waiting for a return call from over a month ago!

Absolutely on point!!! This was my first purchase and the team could not have been more helpful.
Owen very quickly got to grasps with my requirements and quickly narrowed my list down. The first house presented to me by Louis met all my requirements and was the house I eventually purchased. He was professional throughout and was clearly acting in the interest of both myself and the seller. Michele from the Sittingbourne branch looked was my main contact through the transaction and I feel was instrumental in speeding and pushing things forward.
