Had to ask multiple times (and appeared to be ignored) when at end of the contract I asked for our property to be taken off the market. Property not sold by end of contract and switched to an alternative estate agent.

I’m writing this as a visitor in my partners flat (I live in Rome), my partner is an tenant for over a decade in the same flat; only few of the windows can be opened, the kitchen is falling apart. After little to no responses for 5+ months my boyfriend had to put a lot of work and his own money into this flat, simply to fix and / or update to modern standards. Sorry that I can’t leave a more positive review, but it seems to be quite tiresome renting with this agency, that also seems rather cheap when it comes to fixing/replacing.

I worked with George initially in when I put an offer in on my flat at the end of last year and he was the best Estate Agent I've dealt with. Answered all my questions, really knew the property inside out and was just genuinely lovely to deal with.
From then, I worked with Mark throughout the completion and he was just as nice to deal with! Text me updates, came back to queries super fast and even answered some of my questions that my Solicitor wasn't getting back to.
At the end of the process, he met me on his Bank Holiday Monday to make sure I didn't have any issues before exchanging contracts and to give me one last look at the flat.
Overall, it was a great experience with these 2 and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to buy/sell property!

I just moved in a few days ago. I need to say a big thank you to all the agents involved. It was quite difficult to move from Reading to Shoreham. However, Warwick Baker allows both online and in person viewing. It made things a lot easier for me. If I could give no stars I would. Terry at Warwick Baker is highly unprofessional. Whenever we had any maintenance issues with our property she would email me complaining that we reported these issues with sarcastic and blunt responses.
Our back door didn’t lock for around 4/5 months, there was mould throughout our property and when this was brought up with Warwick Baker they refused to install any proper ventilation or heating.
The water pressure was absolutely shocking, and we had outdated storage heaters and a boiler that made such loud noises throughout the night.
I would avoid renting with Warwick Baker at all costs, they were rude, unprofessional, unreliable and hard to approach.

Buying your dream home is always a bit of a journey, twists and turns along the way. George, at Warwick Baker made it all the easier.
Great communication throughout the purchase, and his help and assistance were invaluable, no query was too small, and responses were swift and accurate. It removed so much potential stress from the whole process.
George provided that most elusive of ingredients in the home buying process, confidence, especially given the changing market in the run up to the end of the Stamp Duty Break.

I had the misfortune as a buyer to happen to talk to this estate agent today. A male employee who was rude, misogynistic and dismissive. When you want to spend well over half a million pound on a property and have some questions to ask and the response is so dismissive and to be treated as though I was clearly wasting the mans time. it must be nice to be in such an industry where providing an expensive necessary service means that you can channel your inner mean self and get paid for doing so, I guess you are on a winner. There are kinder out there to deal with., give your money to them.

As a professional landlord, we've been using the Warwick Baker letting and property management service for around 14 years. During this time we have always been pleased with their quality of service and professionalism.
Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and any requests we make are responded to quickly and professionally. This is important to us as we need to know that any issues that arise are dealt with as and when they arise. They are also very good at managing tenants in a firm but very fair way, which gives both us and our tenants peace of mind that Warwick Baker will be fair to all parties.
Although we have had the most interaction with the lettings department, we have also used the sales department to sell a number of properties for us as well. In all cases the level of service we have recieved has been exemplary and we have always felt that we were being very well looked after and their charges have always been competitive which, considering the quality of service, makes using them a bargain.

Unfortunately, the service and communication I received was disappointing. I called up in the morning to arrange a viewing of a £245k one bedroom property I’d seen on Rightmove. I asked if it was still available and was told, yes. Turned up, and a lovely lady called Wendy greeted me and showed me around. She was helpful and friendly.
However, it was soon apparent that the property was not the same one as the one in the photos on Rightmove. There was no disclaimer on the listing to say otherwise. The listing was also fully active/LIVE at the time. After I clarified the market price of £245k at the viewing, I was told that that property had already sold and I was being shown around a £260k+ property (which was out of my budget.) I totally appreciate miscommunications happen in business and we’re all human. Usually a quick apology would be all that was needed. However, after contacting the general manager to explain the situation, I received a short reply back saying “Those photos are of the show-flat” … but no explanation as to why this wasn’t made clear, and more importantly the fact that the property I went to view had already been sold.

I don't usually write reviews but I was so upset with how I was treated by this company I thought I should share. I looked at purchasing a property with Warwick Baker. Wendy was lovely but unfortunately George was absolutely vile. I visited the property we were looking to purchased twice; once with my mum where george was very rude to her. I then had a few telephone conversations with George and he hung up on me a twice and also hung up on my boyfriend once. I honestly don't know how George still has a job. Needless to say, we decided not to purchase the property with this Estate Agent.

From being shown the flat, living in flat, and having things happen (flooding from the upstairs neighbours and replacing the washing machine) they were friendly, professional, and helpful. While very helpful when finding our first place to rent. During renewal process we found the staff rude and unhelpful and during the end process much the same. Our landlord was lovely and managed directly so believe this was lucky as didnt have to deal to much with warwick baker. At the end one of the owners of WB did the final check out. Found him to be very disrespectful. If you have to rent try to avoid them. Fees seem high and they cant really explain them.

My wife and I recently sold our apartment with Warwick Baker estate agents. We dealt with Mark and George and found them both to be extremely helpful and efficient throughout the process. I have been working with George on a recent project and have found him extremely helpful, and quick to respond to my emails. He even came up to the office to help confirm some information within an hour of asking him to. When calling the office everyone was very helpful and polite. They also know how to be human and show their sense of humour too. This is rare to find. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them and George again.

The team at Warwick Baker have been amazing over the last year and a half. Given it was the first property we rented, the process was really smooth, and very efficient when it came to viewing the property and then of course the moving day!
