Recently bought a house with Fox and sons shoreham. I did not enjoy the process. Alysha and Aston didn’t seem to care after my offer was accepted. The fact they don’t use sales progressors made it really difficult to gather information from the sellers or speed up the process. I wont be using a Fox and Sons branch again. The only shining light in the branch is Scott, this review would have been 1* without him.

I bought a property through Fox and Sons in Shoreham. I must say if it wasn't for Scott at this branch I would not have purchased it.
He phoned originally showed me around the property and kept in contact even when it had been offered elsewhere. He called me back when it came back on the market and it was never a problem to see it a few more times. Very friendly, very helpful and helpful kept me up-to-date. If you are interested in Fox and Sons in Shoreham please ask for Scott.

Sold us a property in Shoreham, Mariner Point. They said there would always be visitor parking out the front and although I didn’t have a space allocated in the underground car park that I could park my own car out the front with no issues. That was a lie. Commercial businesses have moved in and bought all the spaces. Now I have to face paying £5 a day in a nearby council car park just so I can park near my home or face a £100 penalty charge. What a joke. Don’t believe what they say, get it all in writing. They’ll say anything to sell a property.

I used Fox & Sons to sell a flat, because they originally valued it the highest - then sold it within 2 days. Unfortunately the buyer pulled out after a couple of months, but they soon found me another purchaser. It was a lengthy process, but they regularly kept me up to date, and kept pushing the solicitors for progress. I would use them again. I also used their in house online solicitor service, who were sooooo much better than the local solicitors in Shoreham I have had poor dealings with before. Recommend both these services.

If I could give a minus * I would but even that would be a *too many . Very unprofessional letters not my correct name or offers were not the same in exs letter.. In one letter ex was rebuying own house with a complete stranger . no follow ups I was the one doing all the work.. had a potential buyer come back 3 times with unexceptable offers.. No other viewings apart from two . No feed back .
Contract ended this week I phoned Branch Manager Ross to let him know that I was going else where and his parting words to me and I quote "You should have accepted the last offer"..To think I would have paid for this unprofessional service . I phoned office to take property of books Rightmove and have boards removed .. I passed their window today to see property is now in their Summer Sale .. Have now signed up with another agent ....

Would not recommend this estate agent at all. Very unreliable and never returned calls when they said they would. Seems very untrustworthy having been told to give my highest and final offer for a decision to be made the following day as two offers on the table. A week later I had still not heard anything and the house still on the market and no response to my offer. Would stay clear and go for a less stressful estate agent if looking to buy or sell a property.

Fox and Sons have been an absolute disgrace.
We had to constantly chase them to get updates on an offer we had put in on a house only to be told the house suddenly had a rival offer and we were asked to make our highest and final bid.
After doing so we were told the 'other offer' was higher and were pressured to bid more. We were assured by Fox & Sons we'd be called the following day to be told the vendors decision either way.
A week later and no phone call and we have also found out there was actually no other offer on the property at all!
If we could give less stars we would. Fully recommend Jacobs Steel in Shoreham who have been fantastic.

With the exception of Heb and one other young guy (apologies I have forgotten his name) who helped me early on in my dealings with this branch, I would say hands down they are probably the poorest example of an estate agent I've dealt with.
Please remember, this company will get a chance to offer counter-feedback which may refute my review. That's fine - but bear in mind, one of us is telling it like it was.

Worst agent I have ever dealt with. Terrible service from start to finish. The manager Dominic advertised my home without my permission and then tried to bully me into showing property around, despite it being £25,000 under value.
Only advice I can give is, stay well clear of this crook and his team of merry men.
