Dom was very friendly and helpful when putting my flat on the market, and it’s always reassuring when you can have a genuine conversation about matching interests with your estate agent! Aden handled the organisation of the chain, who was also very genuine and set me up with their contact at a local removals company to see if they could fit me in with less than 3 weeks’ notice. Despite me losing my patience once at what eventually turned out to be a lack of communication elsewhere in the chain, Aden was still very friendly with me. I was hoping to apologise in person on completion day but he wasn’t working at the time – thank you Aden and sorry for blaming you on someone else’s mistake! The only negative from Jacobs Steel during the entire process was that I missed a call and received an email asking me to get in contact regarding exchange and completion dates. I was sent an email an hour later by my seller’s estate agent saying that they agreed to the dates proposed, even though I hadn’t had a chance to contact Jacobs Steel and explain that we weren’t ready as we were waiting on third parties. Following this, I entered a bit of a panic and had to contact multiple people to explain the situation and apologise for bursting everyone’s bubble. Other than that, I had a very pleasant experience with Jacobs Steel, who also sold me that flat 3.5 years ago!... Read more

Overall, selling and purchasing with Jacobs Steel was a good experience. The senior sales person provided good market insight and guidance. He also managed the offers efficiently to guide us to a buyer who was committed. After that, there were some minor frustrations with our prime contact changing several times. This was resolved fairly quickly and we then had a dedicated contact who kept us informed and proactive in driving the chain. Logistical elements were handled smoothly in terms of buyer visits to see property and key handover. Jacobs Steel also provided a solicitor recommendation and this proved to be an excellent recommendation. I would use Jacobs Steel again.... Read more

Although a long distance away from my home in Plymouth, the Jacobs Steel estate agents kept me fully informed about the sale of my house by telephone which I preferred. They contacted the sellers in shoreham by sea when I needed to negotiate. This was very helpful and made buying easier. We recently completed on our sale through Jacobs Steel. This is the second time we’ve chosen Jacobs Steel after a failed move a couple of years ago and if we ever move again we would choose them without hesitation. Jake was probably the only person through the whole experience that fully informed us all the way through and nothing was ever too much trouble no matter how busy he was. We always felt very informed and in the loop after speaking to him. Matt was always there to help with any difficult situations and dealt with even the most testing of scenarios with good humour. Sharon is always so polite and lovely to chat to and it was nice to have such a friendly voice when times where stressful. To everyone we spoke to thank you for your patience and kindness and helping us all the way through probably the hardest move I’ve ever had to go through!
