We just sold our house through Wellington Evans and it was an absolutely flawless service from beginning to end. Nick was hugely knowledgeable, respectful and supportive at every stage, and always kept us up-to-date as things progressed. Based on our experience of their professionalism, standard of service and results, we cannot recommend Wellington Evans strongly enough.
When Nick first visited our home, we were immediately impressed with the care and attention he gave our property. He was realistic and honest, and explained the current market and how he would approach selling our house. By the end of the visit, we knew we could trust him to deliver a five star experience - and we weren’t wrong.
Nick was consistently engaged and on-hand for our questions and to explain the intricacies of the sale process. Through the strategy he put together for marketing our property, the managing of viewings and the offers we received, it was obvious that Nick was focused on delivering for us. We were very pleased to have him represent us.
Don’t be put off by the fact Wellington Evans aren’t a big sprawling agency with offices everywhere - based on our experience, this is one of their many, many strengths. At every step, we felt supported and never doubted their investment in us and our house sale.

His excellent communication skills enabled him to liaise with solicitors on our behalf and with our buyers and down through the chain. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently.

I went to Wellington Evans after receiving poor service and poor advice from a major high street Estate Agent. The team at Wellington Evans tailored their approach to selling my property to suit it location, size and the prevailing economic environments. They gave realistic and honest advice which allowed me make well informed decisions. Even when one offer fell through they replaced it the same same day with another. They are well deserving of their 5 * review.

James is very racist and clueless. As a foreigner, I will simply avoid them. He talks a lot of rubbish and it's just not worth dealing with him. My wife asked him about the neighbors at a property we visited in Knebworth and he said it's a good community. The only thing to be aware of is that "they might worry about your accent". Only a complete idiot can say that. To "translate" he basically said you might have to put up with racism as a foreigner (in that area) and you should take it in and accept it. Absolutely disgusted about this guy's behavior. But he definitely likes the foreigner's money. A person with no moral, principles, rude and extremely unprofessional. If James has the minimum level of common sense, he should admit what he said about my wife's accent and apologize. And foreigners should know what you think about their accent, otherwise you wouldn't make this kind of offensive remarks. What I said is 100% accurate and I'm actually glad we've seen your real face. Being racist is incomprehensible and it has no excuse.

I recently had the pleasure of working with James for the sale of my house. I was impressed by his honesty and pragmatic approach. I was confident that he was closely monitoring all aspects of the sale from day 1 and was grateful for his honest advice throughout. There was an issue with my boiler which had to be replaced but with James's intervention and advice, this did not affect the sale.
I would recommend this company for their honest approach

James from Wellington Evan’s was amazing throughout the whole process of me trying to sell my Dad’s house. His complete honesty was refreshing and reassuring. At no point did I not think he wouldn’t do what was right by me and also the buyer. His knowledge of the market and legal matters were particularly helpful too. James really cares about his clients and this is invaluable when going through something as big and often as stressful as trying to sell or buy a house.

James and Nick helped guide us through a slightly challenging and frustrating move with patience and clear expertise.
We originally chose W. E. as the agent to market our house with their refreshing and creative sales offering. Their approach, owning some of the risk around fee gave us confidence in their commitment to our sale. We also know both are local and fully understand the market.
As part of our move we got to witness first hand the effect of "high volume" agents and so having this much more personal service really helped us.
We would highly recommend using their service.
