Felt brutally discriminated on a phone call enquiring for a rental property, after saying I live with an elderly medium-large breed dog and being told I was not going to be accepted with "that" dog. No questions about my dog's characteristics at all (not all dogs are the same!!!!! not all need big gardens and massive houses since mine comes with me to work!!!!). I was told some owners say no to pets despite not saying anything on this Rightmove advert. Why ask me which type of dog if no pets at all were accepted? Awful attitude.

Tried to book a viewing for a house we thought may be a good fit for us… very surprised by the negative language used in response to my enquiry when calling. They suggested right off the bat it wasn’t suitable - even having no idea on my current situation. Obviously they have no interest in doing any work to sell their houses, or even the sales acumen to pick up my own property for their portfolio, and tbh, even borderline offensive asking me if ‘i could even afford it’ ?! Seriously.
If you have a property that needs actually someone to help sell it, and not a house that ‘will sell itself’ I’d steer clear.

Undoubtedly the most professional estate agent we have used and we have used a few!
Caroline worked tirelessly to hold a very complex chain together. She succeeded where we are sure many others would have failed.
From the first visit to value our property to completion they showed nothing but true professionalism, efficiency and friendliness.
This estate agents stands out from the rest in every aspect. They maintained regular contact with us. They always arrived ahead of time and all viewings were executed perfectly by Kali. She took the time to find out all she could about the property in order to share this with potential buyers.

We bought through Michael Graham and they were outstanding.
They gave the buyer security by doing extensive due diligence on my initial offer but also fairly supported both myself and the buyer through some hardships later on in the process. Philip kept the process streamlined and concise in the early stages and Caroline was incredibly responsive, at points even correcting my own agents shortcomings in the sales control phase.
All over, it does seem that Michael Graham do really go the extra mile when it comes to care and attention to detail.

We ended up spending nearly 2 years waiting for a property that we fell in love with in Wales. In that time, the agents from Michael Graham (Joanne and Pam) sold our property 3 times (as some of the buyers were not willing to wait that long). On each occasion, we only had to advertise our home for a week, it usually resulted in an average of 15 viewings which was booked in over a single weekend. On each of these occasions, we had about 9 offers to chose from. This massively reduced the strain on us in terms of day to day impact. Most of the offers were over asking price which was amazing! The professional photography, their advertising and the agents made a huge difference in the amount of interest that we were able to generate. Throughout this process, Joanne and Caroline were incredibly supportive. They genuinely put our interest first, never adding to the pressure that we were under (as selling your home is stressful, never mind waiting 2 years for a dream home and needing to sell your home 3 times)!! They unwaveringly persevered with us, which we will be forever grateful for. I could not recommend them more highly.

Just completed on a house sale and Philip Powell was excellent throughout. In the early stages, I had 3 valuations and Philip was the only one to follow up. Before signing any contracts, I received literature that explained the process. During the valuations, 2 agents valued it the same and suggested we should expect to accept less. Philip valued it the same but said he would get more. 1st weekend, 9 viewings and 3 offers made.
The fees were higher but by getting more on the asking price, it generated a higher return.
Marketing, service, photography etc all excellent.

Over the years I have learnt that you get what you pay for with Estate Agents and Michael Graham although not the cheapest are worth every penny!
I dealt with Phil and Gavin when putting our house on the market and then Caroline throughout our sale. All of them were completely transparent, prompt in their responses and really drove things through to the very last detail. Our chain wasn’t simple but they did everything they could to keep everyone up to speed and to make things happen when it looked like things would fall through. On top of that they are genuinely decent people and made what can be a stressful experience almost bareable. I’m never moving again but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use them!

Phil was honest, diligent and progressed our purchase whenever possible. Before using Michael Graham we had agreed a purchase in principle with another Hitchin agent, this agent allowed the house we had apparently bought to be viewed by another couple and we were later gazumped. I had it on authority from our new neighbours that once our offer had been accepted on our now home, they had asked Phil to view it and he said that it had been sold and was no longer on the market. I massively trust and recommend Michael Graham.

A totally excellent service in every respect from Gavin, Phil and the whole team. It was a somewhat laborious process due to a number of complications with the house chain. However, they all worked so hard to keep everybody happy and meticulously worked to keep the chain moving.
