Mike was extremely professional throughout the years we dealt with Wex and Co. We always felt that they had a good grasp of the local market and were a good conduit between ourselves and the tenant. Clear and good communication & went above and beyond for over 9 years, before we sold. I rarely leave reviews, but given that the experience was so good, it felt wrong not to.

Tiffany was also a delight and Lak would often do his best to get things printed off for us when we needed copies of our documents.... Read more

Helpful and made the experience simple and straightforward . Lak was very willing to meet us several times at the house before we exchanged contracts, and the process was explained to us by the owner, because as first time buyers we didn’t have too much prior knowledge of how things were supposed to be done. I rented a house through Wex and Co for over 9 years . They treated us with respect on every phone call, very patient when we had 2 small rent delays in 2020-2021 and were overall a very professional & courteous outfit. Having worked in customer service for over 26 years, I have been able to see first hand their level of attention and empathy as human beings first and foremost, but also their ability to make you feel heard when we complained about anything (which was very rare) . Our landlord, Ali, was very happy with Wex and Co, and to our knowledge dealt with them for many years before us. Now we have finally bought a place, we have moved on from renting, but wanted to share this review, and thank them, especially Michael and Lak, who went above and beyond for us as a family.

For me, I found the team to be helpful and stayed behind one night to help me with our tenant dispute . I would gladly recommend this agent, because it felt like a personal service instead of another high street agent, who closed the door at 5pm, and speaks from the window to say “we are closed”.

I have never left a bad review about an organization in my life but the way Wex and Co operates as a letting agency led by Michael Wexler is truly unacceptable. I have empathy for his staff.

Michael Wexler operates the business in the most dishonest and unprofessional way I have ever observed and truly a compulsive liar. Client services and integrity are truly irrelevant. The letting agent service led by him is appalling and he would think nothing of attempting to steal rental money from landlords without any justification. Blatantly ignores agreed contract terms and misrepresents without concern.
Deliberately provides no remittance statements, pays rent late and I'm referring to thousands of pounds, if at all when tenant pays on time while blaming the innocent tenants who are equally frustrated with service. Lacks any level of responsibility or service standards. Does not respond to emails on complaints and highly unlikely running the client rental account to UK accounting standards. Check companies house. Blames his staff for poor accounting and takes no responsibility for his businesses lack of systems or ethics. In process of reporting to PRS and court process to recover funds. Advise avoid at all costs as unfit for purpose.
So many better property agents in area with proper systems and procedures.... Read more
