Absolutely joke of an organization!!! Had a mice infestation since 2021 made complaints had some holes covered up by workers but clearly still no joy had numerous pest control visits the new company they use are a joke also but that doesn't do nothing long term. Even wrote to my local MP which geared them up into doing some fixtures but it still hasn't resolved the issue. My whole block is infested neighbours have complained and nothing!!!! They tried to move me to another flat but I refused because why would I want to live in another flat knowing from reviews other flat tenants have the same issue on top of that it was by a pond!!!! Why on earth would I want to live near a bloody pond knowing rats as well as mice reside near ponds!!!! They are now running in and out of my children's bedroom Ive caught 2 within 2 days it's a joke!!! God forbid my kids get sick because they are also running on my kitchen sides so I gotta bleach them down every single day!!! After this month I will be withholding rent because why should you get rent when I'm made to live in dump!!!! And before you comment about it being my issue MY FLAT IS CLEAN THE ISSUE IS WITH YOU WALSALL HOUSING GROUP AND YOUR POORLY BUILT PROPERTIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICES!!! MY HOUSING OFFICER SONIA HOWELL IS ALSO A JOKE NEVER FOLLOWS UP ON ANYTHING I HAVE TO CHASE THINGS UP WITH HER! Please if you consider joining with whg don't take reviews like mine lightly you will end up in a situation you will be stuck in for years and they won't care I don't care how much they want to reply and act like they do the DO NOT!!!!!!!... Absolutely brilliant! Great team of lads! They've looked after us in literally every way. We had two first class plasterers put the new walls and ceilings and two chaps named Lee and Dan took care of the new kitchen fitting. Jasper over saw the work. They were absolutely professional at all times, the quality of work second to none. Why any bad reviews about the work force I have no idea! The lads that came to work on our kitchen are simply outstanding tradesmen..........our new kitchen looks brilliant as it nears completion. By the time it's over we're going to have a kitchen worthy of a country manor. Brilliant work.......many thanks lads ????... Read more

I waited 4 and half hours for my gas check, no one turned up and no one contacted me, then I ring them and they say they can take legal actions to make me schedule another 4 hour slot for a second attempt for them to attend, hilarious, its them who didnt attend!!! I personally don’t live in a WHG property but my daughters mother and daughter do. My child’s mother has been complaining about a mice infestation for the past 2 and a half years and all they done was sent someone out to fill a few holes.. which has done absolutely nothing. I told them numerous times the kitchen needs to be ripped out to get to the holes in the walls behind the cupboards and they have ignored this request on numerous occasions probably because they cannot be bothered to do it.. but they will happily increase my daughters mothers rent who works hard for a living for the NHS and pays into the system to be left in a mice infested hell hole. I would not recommend this housing group to a homeless person let alone someone paying into the tax system. But they don’t care because it’s not their children that have to live with mice for years on end. Absolutely disgraceful. This is where the United Kingdom has ended up. If Walsall housing group do not fix this issue for my child’s mother I will personally rip the kitchen out my self to make it secure and safe environment for my child to live in. I don’t think they understand the severity in which a mice infestation can cause to one’s health.... Read more

Can't believe I even have to give this company 1 star just to post! Honestly I've never in my life ever had to go through so much.. firstly we lived in a 2 bedroom flat for 10 years (I have one son who's 11 and one daughter who's 6) so legally they couldn't share a room, so my partner and I decided to give both kids the bedrooms and we slept in the front room for YEARS! on a mattress on the floor.. where mould was creeping into the walls, floors, settees, the lot! Then we finally got a house.. our tenancy starts tomorrow.. so we started to move all our stuff out of the flat into the house. We decided to try and sleep here tonight to try and get used to the place and our surroundings.. First of all we was told it was safe.. but the backdoor wasn't fixed, the window was smashed and they had cytex over the door.. which was letting in a lot of cold air, then when the blokes came out to do the window in the door they had the wrong size, so we have to wait till Wednesday to have the window put in, (they put in some panels to stop the draft), but still we sit here with a botched up back door. Then.. the garden fence was taken out (by whg) when they were doing repairs (we have been told by neighbours who saw the whole thing) and they haven't put up a new fence so anyone is more than welcome to just come into our back garden whenever they feel like it, (not feeling safe at all), oh it doesn't stop there.. then we settled in.. the kids had a bath, pulled the plug and the water started dripping through the light in the kitchen.. called whg up about this.. the lady asked me for my new address 3 times.. then she sent the bloke to the wrong address (our old address) and blamed it on us.. the bloke finally came to our address after 4 hours and said its the boiler tank pipe that's leaking into the floor boards.. when we bid for this home it stated £158 a week rent.. but when the contract came through its now £171 a week. Make it make sense!! Absolutely diabolical! UPDATE: someone came out.. we got told we would receive some plug in heaters for our home due to how cold it is and our boiler messing up as well as the leak, within the hour! This was at 12.30am.. been awake all night and STILL NO ONE CAME OUT TO BRING THE HEATERS. so we are all freezing cold, with no sleep and the leak in the kitchen light fitting still happening! WHG I'm so disappointed.. but not surprised at all.... Read more

Moved into a new house deemed "Ready" and we find, *Back garden fence (Which backs on the main road) down and broken into pieces. *Back garden door with no glass panel in it. *Rubbish in both front and back garden And water now dripping from kitchen light cause kids had a bath..This is still all on the first day... This company is just a make a wish foundation for wannabe builders etc, Sooner i get away from this area i can be shot of WHG and all the failings they give us. Joke from top to bottom!... Read more

They Rent property out which is a health hazard and not repaired correctly. There properties fail the HHSRS health and safety standards. Standards. Do not turn up to appointments. Fail there part of the tenant housing contract. Have no duty of care for people suffering with disabilities. You cannot talk to the people that you need to. Their complaints system is a joke. December 2023....After 5 years and Many Many Emails,Letters,Photo's and Complaints.We are still here waiting for repairs to be done ! WHG phonel Staff are Rude,Tell lies,A lot of false information given. WHG don't like being filmed but it's alright for their staff to film their tenant's. WHG favourite quote "We will be in touch next week" But next week never comes ! WHG reason for not doing repairs "The purse strings are tight, If you can understand that " But WHG can build muliple properties outside the walsall area . UPDATE!!! January 2024....WHG reply some 4 years ago which is below....They have stated now that they could not do any repairs on the property due the climate.When asked when they could do the outstanding repairs....The phone was put down.... Reported a roof repair over a year ago, now water coming through hitting the lounge ceiling. Been calling the 'emergency' line for over a week. Closed OOO and on hold for 40 mins each time. The staff on the lines are lovely but it's not their doing, and the tradespeople they send out are useless.... Read more
