Terrible service from the letting division - received a call back regarding fixing our oven as it had short circuited during the weekend - received an apology for not getting back to us sooner as she doesn’t work weekends & asked if she just woke me up as it was early
This was completely fine, expected & courteous I even found the situation humorous as I was woken up but relieved to get our oven sorted out and let out a little chuckle.
I was then met with an extremely awkward:
‘Are you laughing, really?’
The tone of conversation completely shifted and began the most condescending, dismissive, rude and snobbish interrogation I’ve ever experienced - short and snappy questions with a prompt disregard for the situation and lack of empathy. Was finally told I’d essentially be passed over & would received a text for access.
Which again, is fine as hopefully we’ll get our oven fixed but to be spoken down to such a manner for laughing a situation is completely unacceptable - pretty sure she slammed the phone down on me.
I am new to the property ladder and only wished to have a simple fix to the problem but the way this was conducted was outrageous.
To the letting agent who called me (Therese Gnosill I believe), please remove the stick from where the sun doesn’t shine and work on your people skills, decorum and customer service as you are severely lacking in all three.

I was so shocked with the service I got I have dealt with Connells before they have been fantastic. I'm gutted with the service I got this time the lady was so rude told me to look online not offer me a seat. I'm trying to get over the way I was treated will be phoning them to speak to the manager

Dan Flowers is unmatched at Connells he helped to sort out my mortgage. He has been excellent to deal with and l have been really impressed with all aspects of the application. He has a wealth of knowledge in the different products available and really took the hassle out of getting an offer. He responds to emails and inquiries quickly and I really can't fault the service. I will definitely be using him again. Highly recommend.

Neelam is fantastic. Very efficient moving at pace even during her out of office hours. Was well impressed with how quickly she responded getting her research on a property am now buying done and advising me on the offer to put in all on a day she was off work thats some dedication. No waiting around couldn't be happier. Great advice going through the mortgage process with again no time wasted explaining everything thoroughly even when offering add on products of insurance. Would highly recommend if you want a dedicated person to their job to take you through the process. Thank you Neelam.
