This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.... Read more

I really am so hurt and embarrassed and felt disgusted with how I was treated when I called to make an enquiry regarding my application form for a property. I was nervous to even contact the estate agent or enquiry about a property as I suffer with severe anxiety and have a long term illness which also contributes to this. I work in customer services myself and would never speak to a customer the way this lady spoke to me. The way I was spoken to on the phone was disgraceful. I was grilled about my credit history, which I know has to be done, but the manner I was spoken to by the lady was horrible. She made me feel so small, and didn’t even want to hear anything I had to say, she had already made up my her mind that she was not going to pass my application form to the landlord. I tried to explain to her about my current landlord and previous landlord they would have been able to provide a reference for me, but she advised, there was no point as I had already failed. With the current circumstances you would think that a person in her position would learn to approach customers a bit more politely. I wish I remembered this horrible woman’s name. Honestly, after this call I was so upset and felt so low. Will never use this estate agents again. DISGUSTING!!!... Read more

Rented a property through redstones for a couple of years. Rude staff throughout my experience. quick to charge fees for smallest amount of work. left without fully functioning toilet for months and frequently harassed for contract extensions. appear to driven solely by willingness to get money out of tenants with the customer service quality of a stroppy teenager. Worst agency. I rang for a property, they took my details and said they will call me when they are starting to do viewings. I didn't receive any call for 2 day, i rang them again and spoke with Katie and she said the property has been let. Good job!!... Read more

DISGUSTING COMPANY. REPORT TO THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN AND TRADING STANDARDS. LANDLORDS BEWARE. They won't do any property checks, read meters or maintain your property etc. In fact they won't do anything you've paid them for in terms of managing your property They will only offer tenants a 6 month tenancy so they can keep charging you fees to find a new tenant. TENANTS BEWARE. They will ignore any communication from you once you've moved in. They will charge you a non refundable holding fee before they make you aware of their mountain of other charges. They will tell you to sort out any maintenance issues yourself. They will charge you extortionate fees, often charging for the same thing they've charged the landlord for. They will make up lies to withold your deposit. Redstones are taking both landlords and tenants for fools. Everyone at the office lies. The owner is arrogant. They quite simply prey on honest trusting people. It's time Redstones were made accountable for their disgusting practises.... Read more

What a joke !! A company that clearly does not put the client at the heart of everything they do. Since December I have been in regular contact with RedStones Walsall, who have been unhelpful, rude and state we are just staff member. I have asked 3 times for a call from the Director - Manjit who to this date I am still awaiting a call back. He would rather leave the office early than meet a promise of a call back by close of business. RedStones are by far the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with!! How disappointing after only 3 months of being a client. The set up and running of the business does not think about how the service they provide effects landlords or the tenant. Avoid this estate agent at all costs, the fees are cheap in the short term but in the long term you will end up paying more !!!!... Read more

Hi I am renting one of the properties in Walsall and I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. Whenever there is an issue and you contact them about it - they just don't get back to you and you have to call them few times before anything is resolved. When it's other way round ( they want me to sign the contract but I prefer rolling contract ) it's got to the point that they are pesting me few times a week and I am fed up with it ! All this so they can earn £75 contract fee. Honestly I feel like moving out.... Read more

Used Redstones many times, and every time the services has been shocking. A real underhanded, unregulated and ruthless company masquerading behind a flash office and fancy stationary. Be carful whether you’re selling or renting. And God help any tenants renting through this company. Landlords beware !... Read more

This agency actually ring you back when thy say they will, deal with call with respect and professional manner, communication is key and these have that on point. Defiantly recommended... Read more

I am absolutely horrified at the service or should I say zero service I have received from this company. After trying to call for 4 days and having my phone purposely answered then put down, I decided to go in. What I arrived to what horrendous. Me and my partner were ignored we stood there waiting whilst both male and female had a conversation. I was then abruptly asked what I wanted to which I said I'd like to view a property and gave them the road name to which they said we need more than that info - you'd think they would know their properties. The Asian lady was extremely abrupt and rude - there was no thank you or anything. The chap said they would ring us Monday to which again never happend - they were clueless - it appears they don't have a clue about what they are doing- please please I advise anyone NOT TO conduct business with them and absolute joke service and I will be passing not this feedback on to everybody. Yes it was indeed the Walsall office I am extremely surprised that your wife is gobsmacked - she was extremely rude and had an attitude - think she needs to go on a people skills course - can't you see there is a bit of a pattern occurring and everybody is saying the same thing - unfortunately the customer is always right and to be frank I have NEVER been made to feel so uncomfortable. She came across God almighty and was extremely abrupt - I have taken my property needs elsewhere to a professional company - I will be letting others know to steer away from such an unprofessional so called business ... I have used Redstones for nearly 2 years now and I have never encountered a problem of any great concern. I had a problem just before winter as my boiler was on the blip. When I notified Redstones of this, the girls greeted me warmly and dealt with it from there on. The contractor they sent out stayed until it was fixed. Because it was a very old boiler, we had a few difficulties finding the appropriate parts but after a few days the landlord authorised to get it replaced. It was installed within 2 days. I have dealt with larger companies in this business in the past, and although I never had problems with those either, I never felt more appreciated or welcomed then at Redstones. I feel more of a valued tenant than just a number.I have gotten to know the people in the office, and as because it is a tight-knit group, they have gotten to know me. When it comes to buying a used car. It could run great. But if it doesn't then you take it to the mechanic and if he cannot get it fixed you blame the mechanic not the car or the salesperson. Redstones in these instances is the mechanic. I suggest people look deep into what they're renting like I did (I'm quite a picky person) and it should be smooth sailing from there on out. I will continue to use Redstones for the foreseeable future as I cannot see how I could benefit from moving elsewhere. ... Read more
