!! Avoid them at any cost !! They are the most unorganised, unprofessional and the rudest agency I have ever been with, they have left us without a shower for over 3 months, the lied about the property being professionally cleaned, all they care about is money! Lesley and Rob their head of lettings are the people that we have been dealing with, Rob was lying through his teeth to get us into the property, these people don’t have any respect for their tenants! And now since we left the property they are causing so many issues it’s actually an utter joke.... Read more

We chose Whiteknights because of a combination of their reputation and because they were willing to sell our home for more than the other estate agents in the area. A promise they delivered on. When our first buyers dropped out Whiteknights rapidly secured half a dozen more, and were endlessly supportive, positive, and patient throughout the whole ordeal, always able to offer help to keep things moving forward no matter how chaotic the situation or how many bumps there were in the road.... Happy I'm not selling with Whiteknights myself, Unable to get a viewing booked on any property after 1.5wks of phone calls. Calls not returned, and insisting on a affordability check with my full financial details handed to a 3rd party mortgage Broker ("Mortgage Advice Bureau") from a cold call, simply to arrange a viewing. This breaches data protection as such checks are only a requirement once a purchase is going through. Only response I can get from their reception "its not a priority to get back to you" , this as a perspective buyer.... Read more

Refuse to let you view any properties unless you speak to their financial advisor first. I am more than happy to provide proof of funds if I am interested in a property, but I'm not willing to share all my personal financial details before I'm allowed to see any properties. I also believe that it goes against the estate agents code of conduct to discriminate against buyers who do not wish to use any in-house services. So sellers, be aware that good buyers with finances already in place may not be allowed to view your property - apparently, according to Whiteknights, refusing to show such people any properties is "what sellers want".... Having bought our 1st house through Whiteknight's we were keen to use them again for our recent house sale/purchase. We were delighted with Gary's selling process, getting more than we expected was a bonus! I can’t not recommend Tom Fisher or Gary Waite highly enough! From the moment I met Gary, I was so confident he would sell my flat! I was with another agency who really messed me around, and I went to Whiteknights’s not very confident in an estate agency. However from the initial meeting, to the photographs etc been taking everyone was so professional and restored my faith! Gary probably has 3/4 viewings in total and when he came into my property with viewers it was reassuring to see someone actively marketing a property and picking out key plus points to the property. He was very knowledgeable on the area and as my property was shared ownership he always went the extra mile in finding out, the info needed! Also supplied solicitor contact details for solicitors etc, so was a one stop shop. I was always kept updated! Fantastic asset to the company, We then had an offer and was passed over to Tom Fisher, whom I’ve never met but quite possibly my most dialled number on my phone! At one point we were speaking so often, I thought he would know my number off but heart! Again fantastic, very professional, thorough and clear communicatior. If he needed to action something he would always sign post and follow up, not the easiest when a third party involved such as a housing association! Again would go out of his way to get resolution. I would recommend Whiteknights to anyone, personally I’m kicking myself I didn’t come to you guys first, it’s really reassuring to deal with like minded people who understand the constraints of buying and selling houses and can relate, I feel this is a key differencitor between yourselves and other agencies. Tom is a highly professional estate agent, friendly, polite, straight talking, honest and always on hand to promptly answer any questions or concerns; from start to finish Tom gave an outstanding service. We were delighted by everything Tom did from the moment he first came through the door. He quickly saw the positives in our house and helped us to emphasise them. In an industry which, often rightly, attracts a lot of criticism I have to say what a refreshing change it is to deal with Whiteknights of Woodley. Staff are very friendly, always return your call and keep you fully up to date with matters as they proceed through the tortuous buying and selling roller coaster. I was buying a house from a Whiteknights customer, and so were not employing them, but it did not feel that way. They regularly called with updates to reassure us and regularly went above and beyond the usual estate agent remit. Lovely touch at the end was a huge bunch of flowers when we moved in! The Whiteknights Woodley team of Gary, John and Tom were fantastic. They all worked seamlessly together to provide a professional, knowledgeable and communicative service. Gary's valuation was highest out of the 3 agents I originally engaged, by a significant amount, but this was based on his clearly evident knowledge and experience of the area. I was delighted that him and the team got us 5 offers above this price (3 from 1st time buyers). Don't be fooled by sole "man in a box" agents as I would highly recommend having this strong team of 3 agents selling your house. If 1 or 2 are out doing viewings, it seems there will always be at least 1 of the team in the office managing communications, getting more viewings, taking offers, or just pushing things along. I realise now that it's not just about getting the sale, but an estate agent is also very helpful in getting to completion quickly. As the considerable amount of time the whole team spent on doing project management, pushing everyone involved along, and communicating updates back to me completely justifies the very reasonable fees. Following a great experience when buying our first home with Gary at WhiteKnights Woodley we contacted him to come and value the property once again so we could move to something bigger. He was very knowledgeable and made the entire process a breeze. There was then no pressure for us to proceed to market. Once we were ready to go ahead we meet with Tom another friendly knowledgeable agent who has taken away all the stress of this process and actually made it fun. He arrived at a time to suit us and took fantastic photos made some great suggestions on how to get the most out of the leaflet and the property write up, all of this attention to detail lead to a number of offers within a few hours, Tom really helped us make the right decision on which one to accept and how to proceed.
