It isn't really possible for any estate agent to be more helpful and professional than Whittakers were when I recently had to sell a property that was our family home for the past 60 years. A sensible property "probate" valuation, a referral to excellent efficient solicitors, very timely advertising. A sale was achieved within 24 hours of the advert going live, before the "for sale" sign was even erected! Very competitive fees. Please use this local family company, you will not be disappointed!

Whittakers Estate Agents helped us to sell our home.
We had a few issues with buyers dropping out but Linda quickly got the property back on the market and sold it again within weeks.
Linda is very good at her job she knows that the process can be laborious but she is relentless in her attention to detail to ensure that things move along swiftly. Whittakers Estate agents are very efficient and professional, and always go above and beyond to get things moving. I would highly recommend this business.

Communication was excellent, they have a brilliant understanding of the local market and get results. The bungalow that we sold was under offer within a week of being on the market, achieving the required selling price. We received excellent service, advice and attention from Whittaker's Estate Agents when selling our Aunt's property. We had little previous experience of selling property and Linda was there every step of the way to guide us through it. She was always willing to help with advice and with the copious amounts of 'form-filling'. This certainty took away a lot of the stress from us. We cannot recommend Whittaker's services highly enough. It is a thoroughly professional business, whilst maintaining small, independent family values. Thank you Linda and family, a first class service all round.

Whittaker’s are a family run business who go above and beyond to help you throughout your buying and selling experience. Nothing is too much trouble. They are passionate about their business and have a real heart for what they do and they do it so well. I would highly recommend them and will most definitely use them in the future Another massive plus is their price and for such a personalised service I think they should be asking more yet they are a lot cheaper than the other estate agents. Linda takes all the stress out of the process and keeps you updated all the way

Linda and family are the exception to the rule as far as estate agents are concerned. Lovely traditional family estate agency, an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. We bought our property through Whittaker’s the process took 10 months as our buyer kept losing buyers, Whittaker’s kept us informed and updated regularly whereas our estate agents we were selling through didn’t even when chased!! I would highly recommend Whittaker’s - a great big thank you to all of you ????

I can't recommend Whittakers Estate Agents highly enough, their level of customer service, care, and dedication is exceptional, very professional and all at the same time as giving you a feeling of familiarity and friendliness, they balance all of this perfectly.
Due to personal circumstances, myself and my husband had neither the time, or mental capacity to deal with anything else. After searching the internet, very last minute for the advisory 3rd Agent valuation, which we almost didn't do due to lack of time, we rang Whittakers on a Sunday afternoon, yes Sunday!, and we are so glad we did.
This family run business deserves every accolade going, they made a complicated situation so easy, stress free and simplistic. Linda was amazing and went above and beyond from start to finish, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
