got 1 viewer in 6 months.with yorkshires finest they marketed it on rightmove with wrong room sizes. placed with a new estate agent sold in a week . yorkshires finest sued me for full commission as i sold it within 6 months of removing it from them I defended it in court cost me £3.000. for barristers and legal costs As a widow of 75 this estate agents cost me 2 years of legal battles. What a shocking experience of an estate agents. R We have used numerous estate agents over the years, and are in the property business so are aware of what to expect. They have done nothing but prove that they are a 1 man business, where the office were constantly changing what they were agreeing to after they had to clear it with the boss. Why make any agreements if you don’t have the authority. When the property was to come off the market, they tried their very best to milk as much money as possible. This involved lying about agreeing to take it off the market, then trying to charge to remove it off the market. I also have email trails which I have forwarded to the ombudsman, where they claim that notice periods can’t be given during a contract, in order for the contract to end at the end of the contract date. We were forced to keep the property on the market with them, even though we were not doing any viewings which doesn’t make any sense at all. For anyone wanting to use this company, be very cautious. Another local company told us recently about how many properties these guys have sold this year and it explains why they must of been so desperate for a board to be up, and to try and get as much money as possible. All the unprofessional behaviour and breakdown of relationship, was due to being forced to stay on the market with them.... Read more

I have only good things to say about Yorkshires Finest. We listed our house with them and got immediate viewings, communication was excellent at all times. A lady called Pauline Walsh was particularly helpful at keeping us up to speed with progress. We ended up selling the house for the full asking price. The house we intended to buy (via a different agent) ended up falling though unfortunately, that experience really highlighted how fortunate we were to be dealing with a company that actually replied to messages and communicated well. Anyway, Yorkshires Finest managed to find us an alternative property which turned out to be a far superior option for us and for that I will be eternally grateful. Just goes to show that finding an agent that listens to your specific requirement and acts accordingly can make a huge difference, as well as one that has a large and well managed portfolio of properties on their books.... Wouldn’t rate as the finest in Yorkshire. Our offer was accepted on a property, but they needed more and more information from their first email to actually take a property off the market. Viewings were still taking place after the offer was accepted. After organising solicitors etc I provided the additional info to the real estate, the buyers pulled out anyway.... Read more

Very over priced properties, with no valuation done on certain properties. This estate agent is going off from what the vendor wants and what the vendor thinks their property is worth. Wasting a lot of time for every one. Vendors then are. After putting in offers which are what the market dictate, the vendors which feel they are a special case feel insulted?
