Shocking lack of communication. The seller's plans changed and the house we were buying became part of a chain (a short one, but still a chain) but the agents didn't inform us. Questions regarding the house purchase are usually (when emails are not ignored) answered by "we'll find out for you" but nothing happens. And up until 2o'clock on completion date, they still didn't ask the seller what their plan was regarding key transfer. "Maybe you'll collect them here, maybe they'll want to meet you at the house", or "the solicitors still didn't confirm it was gone through". Fair enough, but is that a reason not to find out what is the plan after it has gone through? Apparently they can't and it's quite normal according to them! They just blame the system, and the solicitors, when a simple phone call to the seller, in due time, and just asking "what is your plan on completion day" would make everything so much smoother, for us, and for them. Unfortunately, one doesn't chose their agents when buying a house!

We have had a very positive and professional experience recently with YoungsRPS especially with Ms Murray. We were literally leaving Hexham for Scotland when we checked Rightmove and saw a newly added property we wanted to view. Louise went out of her way to fit us in later that day and we had an offer accepted on the house the next day. We have continued to communicate with Youngs RPS staff and Louise in particular and found everyone to be very friendly and very reliable in getting back to us promptly. It's been a pleasure dealing with a company and staff who actually seem to care about their clients and providing proper customer service.

YoungRPS Hexham staff were extremely helpful , both in the rental and selling departments. Initially we were going to rent the house and We were helped through the process. When we decided to sell the Sales team were immediately helpful and the process was satisfactorily concluded quickly and hassle free. All departments communicated with each other and with us.
