Louise promptly arranged to view my house at a date and time that was convenient to me. She was friendly, approachable and professional. It was clear that she is very experienced and gave an honest and realistic assessment of the value of the house, good and bad points whilst taking into account similar properties within the immediate area. She answered my questions and concerns without making me feel I was asking a stupid question. The contract was written in clear "plain english" and was easy to understand. Specifically the charges for the sale of the house were reasonable and clearly set out. Pictures of the house were taken quickly and the house put on the market promptly.The pictures were realistic and showed the full potential of the house. The description of the house was clear and accurate. Regular detailed updates were provided on people who had clicked on the house, viewings and feedback. Dewhursts were happy to provide their professional opinion on the ongoing saleability of the house, based on an analysis of viewings etc. The house required modernising,for example bathrooms and kitchen and we were able to have an honest discussion about a reduction in price to increase viewings and the chances of a prompt sale. I had initially asked the house be marketed at at a higher price.Within two months we had accepted an offer on the house. The process to completion went through promptly. In all my dealings with Dewhursts (Longridge) everybody i have spoken to has been friendly, knowledgeable,helpful and professional and have taken prompt action. When I have visited branch everybody looked up in greeting and willingness to help. Would definitely highly recommend this branch.... Read more
