Unprofessional estate agent.…
I was very disappointed with Down estate agents, I booked a viewing for 1400hrs on the 17th June, at park road Hartlepool, and confirmed it with the agency, we waited for over 30 minutes for an agent to turn up, but no one did,
I called their office and the lady said she's stuck in traffic she will be there shortly, we waited for a further 20 minutes, but no one turned up, I called the office again but this time no one answered, so I left a message, stating that if no one turns up in 5 minutes, we won't be bothering with the viewing, no one turned up, this company is so so so unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone to do business with them, if they can't be bothered to turn up for a viewing of a property, then it says it all,
It's that bad that I can't start rate them,

Unfortunately they were unable to attend any of the viewings on our behalf as they were arranged for out of their office hours and therefore they couldn’t attend as they were shut!!!

Overall, good valuation and good knowledge by the management. Poor communication and difficult to get in touch with. Felt as if sales may have been missed due to phone not being answered.

Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.

We were assisted by Caroline Ryan, who proved to be exceptionally efficient and helpful. She responded promptly to my inquiries and made a significant effort to ensure that the process ran smoothly. I am very pleased with the overall experience at Dowen, particularly with Caroline's assistance. It was an outstanding experience.
