Unprofessional estate agent.…
I was very disappointed with Down estate agents, I booked a viewing for 1400hrs on the 17th June, at park road Hartlepool, and confirmed it with the agency, we waited for over 30 minutes for an agent to turn up, but no one did,
I called their office and the lady said she's stuck in traffic she will be there shortly, we waited for a further 20 minutes, but no one turned up, I called the office again but this time no one answered, so I left a message, stating that if no one turns up in 5 minutes, we won't be bothering with the viewing, no one turned up, this company is so so so unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone to do business with them, if they can't be bothered to turn up for a viewing of a property, then it says it all,
It's that bad that I can't start rate them,

Rented same flat 18yr never missed rent once am 77 yrs old given section 21 and left without hot water 10 weeks is this how you treat good tenant's

Dowens are a complete disgrace so avoid like the plague.They take money off you upfront to sell your home and do nothing to sell it, they don't vet who they send round to view your property and the pictures that are taken of your property are from a mobile phone of poor quality. After leaving Dowens to go with a more professional agent they refused to return my money I paid upfront for selling my home which they never did and never would and then called me threatening me that I still needed to pay their fee if my property sold with the other professional agent. Be warned they are liars and thieves and the worst estate agents in Hartlepool, STAY AWAY.
