When I first contacted Griffin some years ago, they were amazing and super helpful.<br><br>Then I lived in a building that was managed by them, the front door was broken for over a year, and when it was finally replaced the tenants weren’t told the work was going to be carried out. They laid rat poison without telling us (with pets and young children in the building), and the state of the building was beyond disgusting, unclean and filled with dead flies. As this was in the communal area this was under their remit.<br><br>I’ve looked at moving house twice recently, and as Griffin are the largest estate agent in Thurrock they hold the monopoly on most properties.<br><br>I contacted them about a number of properties and was never contacted, never received a call or an email asking about my finances or trying to set up a viewing. I complained about this, as I was enquiring about properties well in my price range; and they denied all wrong doing and never changed or contacted me again.<br><br>Also don’t believe the 5* reviews, they email people begging them to leave them.<br><br>EDIT: In response to their feedback, I would like to clarify that not once have they contacted me about my financial standing, and seeing as I have been accepted on a property through a different agent around the £900 mark, which is what I was looking at through Griffin, their comments are completely unfounded because I clearly do meet affordability. They have never once discussed my financial standing with me, especially during this most recent property search, and never bothered to call me about a single enquiry to do so. The place that I pulled out of, I pulled out of for a number of reasons, and bringing it up is a low blow; however confirms my suspicions that they were refusing to show me properties due to pulling out of that property.<br><br>The one property they did show me during the first house search was filled with mould by the way.<br><br>I would also like to point out that the place they mentioned was handled appalling by them. They set up a viewing with me, agreed to meet me at the property, and after half an hour the current tenant came out and explained Griffin have been setting up viewings and not bothering to show up, and she has been conducting the viewings for them (out of kindness not out of obligation).<br><br>So their response is completely unfounded and I am quite frankly shocked and appalled at their response and the blatant lies they are telling.<br><br>They are all rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.

Great experience with Robbie from the Lettings team. Very professional, helpful and easy to communicate with. The viewing was well organised, all information was clear, and the whole process felt smooth and stress?free. Highly recommend Robbie and the team!

Felt a higher price could easily been obtained on this desirable semi- detached extended residence, set in a quiet cul- de-sac with parking for 4 cars , plus a detached garage and well kept lawns and gardens.
