Rachel at McCartneys handled the purchase of our new home extremely well. Communication was faultless with swift replies to any queries. Nothing was too much trouble ....... which was just as well as the purchase turned out to be a little more complicated than is usual! Many thanks indeed.

Over the years we have sold a couple of properties through Darren & Rachel in the Brecon McCartneys office and have also been on the other end, buying. They have always responded quickly and clearly on queries and when in need of advice (no pressure guys!). Darren is a pragmatic valuer which is a huge help when managing expectations. I would say they go beyond and would be our go to team if we are ever back in the market.

Well done to Darren and Rachel at McCartneys. They offered excellent advice regarding the sale of our property, put together an excellent sales package, and then quickly managed to secure an acceptable offer.
From this point onwards they kept us well informed regarding the progress of the sale regularly liaising with ourselves, the buyer and our solicitor. A good team effort secured completion today - the last working day of 2024.
Excellent personal service and high quality and timely advice.

During the buying of our new property the team at McCartneys was just excellent. The staff in the office were always happy to help and provide us with up to date information. Any query was promptly dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. In particular Darren our estate agent was exceptional to work with, being always informative, professional and personable. I can fully recommend McCartneys to any seller or buyer as they provide an all round brilliant service.

We had a wonderful experience working with Vicky, Cath and Mary Rose in McCartneys' Hay-on-Wye office. We purchased our new (to us) home in Herefordshire thanks to them. They were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, from initial viewing right through to completion, and everything in between. We'd thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property in Herefordshire, and would not hesitate to employ them if - heaven forbid - we ever wanted to sell our gorgeous home.

Well I can't fault the communication. spoke with 2 of the ladies from here and one was so patient on the phone helping me find the place I was going to view. They have answered every email I've sent. After reading the reviews I thought I'd leave one of my experience. I've not had a property from them as of yet but just enquiring and then viewing they were extremely helpful.

Diabolical. Unethical, and they knowingly withhold information from you - little wonder estate agents have a dire reputation. AVOID McCartney's.
