I dealt with several of the team at Neil King and found them all extremely professional, patient and full of good advice throughout the year-long process of listing my property, relisting it after various offers fell through, showing dozens of viewers around and dealing with a lot of back-and-forth between me, my eventual buyer and our solicitors. In the end my property went for exactly what Neil thought it was worth. So if you're looking for an agency who actually know the most up-to-date market conditions specific to South Woodford, this is the right one. I can't praise them highly enough.

As the owner of the house R Bhasker bought below, I feel it's only fair to say my opinion of Neil King and his team is the absolute opposite. They have been professional, straightforward, proactive, and fair throughout. I have known them for years; I have used them both as a buyer and as a seller; and I would not hesitate to recommend them. In my experience they operate with great integrity in an industry where trust is at a premium. And I can see my experience is echoed in most of the other reviews. Lastly, my own opinion on the survey is that it was perfectly normal for a house of this age and type. Any issues with vermin were common, localised, minor, and dealt with quickly.

Very very poor estate agent. Bought house via them and such under handed behaviour & trying to bully. All because house survey revealed issues and I like any sane person wanted to question & resolve. They constant sent emails threatening to pull out to make me over pay for a property with rats and hornet nest + roof that was circa 70 yrs old causing leaks. Even these OBVIOUS issues were made to be nothing by them.
No professionalism. Worst estate agents EVER. Completely agree with review below from another buyer called Sandeep. Most people in this country don’t call out bad behaviour sadly. If they did, promise you ratings for Neil King would be a 2 at the absolute highest!!

My experience with this estate agent was very disappointing. I felt that the service was rude and overly aggressive, and there was significant unnecessary pressure to close the deal quickly.I felt pressured throughout the process, including an instance of gazumping, which added unnecessary stress.Additionally, there were moments where unhelpful comments were made regarding my solicitor during the conveyancing process. Overall, the experience took away much of the excitement of buying a new home for me and my family. Based on my experience, I would caution others and recommend carefully considering other agents in the area.

Neil and his team are outstanding professionals. We both bought and sold our home through Neil King, and the service was exceptional.
