Trying to deal with Paul Fox in Brigg has been absolutely the most wretched experience I’ve endured in some time. I’m currently in the throes of selling my own home (mercifully, not with them) and I enquired about viewing a highly suitable-looking new property they had listed on Rightmove. Once the appointment was made on the ‘phone and I’d been informed (fairly snottily, I would add) that I needed to fill out some Covid-related paperwork (unlike any other EA I’ve arranged a viewing with) I was emailed by some dismal representative of the company to tell me that they’d cancelled my viewing as I hadn’t actually sold my current home! Worse still, the simpering quarter-wit told me (and I have this in writing) that this was down to ‘government policy’! Honestly, I thought it was a practical joke, but apparently not. In the whacky world of Paul Fox, it would seem that nobody can even view a potential home until they’ve sold their current one - which creates a bit of a Catch 22 really doesn’t it? I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who has signed up with this bunch of clowns. If the staff in my business delivered customer service of this level I’d rightly expect to go bust. Incredible.
