Avoid Plaza Estates - Unethical Practices and Breach of Contract
I had an incredibly negative experience with this property management agency and strongly advise others to avoid them. Here’s what happened:
Breach of Contract: I signed a tenancy agreement with a 6-month no-break clause, but just two months after moving in, the agency informed me that they were selling the property, forcing me to move out early. This was a clear violation of the contract.
Unfair Deposit Practices: When I moved out, the agency tried to use a decade-old inventory report from 2010 (for a different tenancy!) to withhold my deposit and said that we STOLE SOME PRINTS THAT COST £2800 BACK IN 2010 . They failed to do an inventory check when I moved in, yet they’re holding me accountable for items from 14 years ago and they have no proof. This is completely unethical.
Lack of Empathy and Support: Despite informing them of my vulnerable situation, the agency showed zero empathy. Their communication was cold, pressuring, and unhelpful. They failed to explain my rights or offer any support during the stressful process of finding new accommodation.
Bottom Line: This agency’s unethical practices, lack of professionalism, and disregard for their tenants’ rights make them completely untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress and financial loss—avoid them at all costs.... Read more
