Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional and only interested in quick sale. No communication whatsoever!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Awful experience with Residence. Property was on the market for two separate stints totalling best part of a year - only 3 or 4 viewings. When informed I was considering a different letting agent, they gave me two options (1) give them a third try with a lower asking price or (2) pay them a withdrawal fee. Either option was very bad.
I hoped they would be pragmatic and agree to go our separate ways with no fees… but, instead, their owner called me and doubled down on the withdrawal fee. They then refused to remove my ads from Rightmove, Zoopla, etc until the withdrawal fee was paid, preventing me from using a different agent - EXTORTION.
AVOID!!!

I was really disappointed with this estate agent. I went in and asked if it was possible to be notified if/when anything that met our criteria came up. The lady said this wouldn't be a problem, she took all my details, asked what we were looking for and that was that. I left and never heard a thing. No emails! No texts! No phone calls! Nothing! I checked as often as i could and noticed there had been new property put up, and when I phoned, I was informed they were gone. This is an amazing service for sellers but not so much for buyers.
