I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Simon Smith, Simon Gresswell, and Louis Devins at SJ Smith for the exceptional level of professionalism, communication, and support they provided throughout our recent property purchase journey.
Unfortunately, despite everyone’s efforts, the purchase itself did not proceed due to prolonged delays and a complete lack of flexibility and negotiation from the seller’s side after Survey. However, what truly stood out during this difficult and often frustrating process was the outstanding way the SJ Smith team handled every stage of the transaction.
From the very beginning, Simon Smith, Simon Gresswell, and Louis Devins demonstrated a level of dedication and client care that is increasingly rare to find. Communication was consistently excellent — clear, honest, prompt, and reassuring at all times. No matter how challenging the situation became, they remained calm, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout.
What impressed me most was their transparency and integrity. They never overpromised, always provided realistic guidance, and worked tirelessly to try to move negotiations forward in a fair and constructive manner. It was obvious that they genuinely cared about achieving the best possible outcome for all parties involved and invested a huge amount of time and effort into trying to make the transaction work.
Property purchases can be highly stressful, especially when complications and delays arise, but the SJ Smith team made a very difficult situation significantly easier to manage through their patience, responsiveness, and professionalism. Every question was answered thoroughly, every concern was addressed quickly, and at all times we felt supported and well looked after.
Although the transaction ultimately fell through for reasons completely outside their control, my experience with SJ Smith was overwhelmingly positive. Their conduct throughout the process gave me enormous confidence in their expertise and the way they value their clients.
I would not hesitate for a second to highly recommend SJ Smith to anyone buying or selling property. They are a fantastic team with exceptional standards, and I will absolutely look to engage with them again in the future for both property purchases and sales.
A genuine thank you once again to Simon Smith, Simon Gresswell, and Louis Devins for all of their hard work, honesty, patience, and professionalism throughout.

I’ve been searching for a house to buy for two years. With the budget that I had and the house that I wanted, it’s seemed impossible. Until at some point I’ve met Emily through house viewing. I saw it from the beginning that she is extremely dedicated to help me find what I actually want within my budget. She’s done an amazing job all the way from search, viewing and negotiation right to the end. Now I bought my dream house and I’m getting the key next week.

This was for a property sale back last year, and we were very happy with the service ! Got good honest advice from Robert Pearce (Senior Sales Negotiater) from the first visit (you'll probably hear this from him, "honest advice even if you're not going to like hearing it"). And good support throughout the sale process from Robert & Simon Gresswell (Sales Progressor).
Also Robert swung it for us with the purchase of our new home which was managed by a different Estate Agency, where he provided in detail our position in completing the sale, persuading the Estate Agent that we were in a more advanced position to complete sale than our rival buyers, this was a contributing factor in us winning the bid.

The whole Staines branch were fantastic, in particular Spencer who conducted most of the viewings, he was able to give me immediate feedback on first impressions of potential buyers, a very charismatic person who engages people well!
Amir for reassuring me every step of the way and the move managers for such excellent communication with bytes and solicitors.
A really efficient set up hence it is the second purchase I have made with this company. Thank you!
