My wife and I were visiting the Malmsbury area visiting friends when we became aware of a house for sale in Hullavington village which was of interest for us. This was at 1230 on the day we were due to return home to Cornwall. I immediately telephoned the Strakers office in Malmesbury to enquire whether there was any possibility of a viewing. Winnie took my call, and after a few minutes whilst she checked with the vendors whether a short-notice visit would be ok, she confirmed an appointment for 3 pm later that afternoon. Although the property didn't quite match up to our requirements just having the opportunity to have a viewing without having to make a return trip from Cornwall was extremely helpful. Thank you Winnie.

The Team at Strakers in Malmesbury have been so helpful, professional and friendly throughout the purchase of my home. Abbie is a Superstar, she took me to view a property I would not have booked to see and ended up buying. Couldn't be happier or more grateful for all of their help especially as I was buying on my own. The bottle of bubbles and move in card on Completion day was very well appreciated too. Thank you. Would thoroughly recommend visiting them if you are considering moving to the area.

Strakers kept finding us potential buyers and organising viewings despite three sales falling through. They were persistent, empathetic and kept in touch. They have kept an eye on the place since it has been empty and honestly they couldn't have been more helpful. I really would recommend them. Quite honestly, they are the full package and their friendly staff are second to none.

We had an awful experience renting our house for 10 years with Strakers when we lived abroad. Our home turned from a beautiful place with a “wow factor” into a filthy mess with tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage under Strakers watch. After 5 years they replaced a competent manager with someone with zero experience and no common sense who told us that the place was in very good condition. We returned to find a huge mess. The Strakers agent is completely incompetent. Avoid Strakers if you wish to rent your home!
