3rd Nov 2025 (7 days ago)Pretty rubbish service to us as sellers. Time waster buyers, weren’t informed until over 5 months into the sale that the buyers had serious pre-existing circumstances, a mess. Feels like we’re having to do everything ourselves. One minute these are cash buyers, the next it’s a mortgage, the next minute the agents are only receiving proof of funds documentation half way through the sale. What is their buyer KYC process? Where is our service and protection as sellers?

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

9th Nov 2020 (5 years ago)Nicol & Co delivered a fantastic service from start to finish. The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop out asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

The staff who deal with me are absolutely incredible and supportive in every single way. If there's a problem, they're fantastic and extremely quick to respond and sort out whatever problem may. 28th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Multiple emails by both myself and the building owner to different agents and website communication points, for well over a month with no reply. Laughable lack of communication. I can't even say that they are refusing to return the deposit, or made up an excuse to avoid doing it, as they have dropped all communications entirely.
