2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I cannot praise and recommend Scriven & Co Quinton enough<br>We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the team, especially Lauren, the service she provided us from beginning to end was absolutely amazing and made what could have been a really stressful process feel so much easier<br><br>She was very professional, very friendly and so approachable, nothing was too much trouble, in fact it got to a point where I would rather deal with Lauren than speak to the solicitors we had appointed<br><br>A huge thank you to Lauren for everything, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scriven & Co to anyone looking to sell their house, unless Lauren moves on to pastures new ..... haha<br><br>So if you are looking to sell your house look no further, Lauren at Scriven & Co is the right person for the job

3rd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)My experience with Northwood Birmingham has been disappointing and frustrating.<br><br>?Communication is consistently poor. Emails and phone calls go ignored, and getting a response requires chasing them repeatedly for weeks. It feels completely unprofessional, especially when you expect basic courtesy and responsiveness in return.<br><br>?More importantly, their property management standards are unacceptable.<br><br>After the tenants moved out, the property was left in a miserable condition. As a landlord paying for management, you expect your property to be looked after, but Northwood fell far short.<br><br>?I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their customer service and inspection standards.- 25th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely discussing treatment from this branch, house was paid for by buyer on a Monday morning and its 3pm on Tuesday and still no money has been received because of the incompetence of the staff at this branch

Guiding me every step of the way and answered any questions I had or if I had any difficulties she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She went above and beyond with the move ensuring everything was perfect for when I moved in. I am very grateful for her help and the smoothness of which this happened I am very happy with it all from Martin and co but Leigh ecspecially, thankyou!!!

After our first buyer pulled out at the last minute, Julia went above and beyond to quickly find a new buyer and keep everything moving forward. Her dedication, professionalism, and constant communication made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. 14th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.

All staff perform their duties very well and offer excellent customer service. Next the support given during negotiations was excellent and I felt confident in the process. Finally Helen has been wonderful in ensuring that completion went to plan. Her interpersonal skills are second to none. She kept me fully informed and moved the sale forward by liaising with all parties. She is a wonderful asset to the business. Thank you Smart Homes.

I WAS SO WRONG!<br><br>After having a sale fall through with another agent just before Christmas, I decided to take a break before putting the house back on the market. That’s when I instructed Fran and Nicky, and the difference was incredible.<br><br>The service was genuinely above and beyond and completely the opposite of my previous experience.<br><br>Communication was exceptional from start to finish. I never felt like my house was simply another property on their books. They were completely invested in selling it and, just as importantly, once we had a buyer, making sure the sale actually made it through to completion.<br><br>They were always one step ahead, anticipating potential issues before they became problems. I also know they worked just as hard with my buyer as they did with me, making sure we both felt completely supported throughout the process and that everything kept moving.<br><br>After being empty and on the market for nearly 12 months, Fran and Nicky relisted my house and we sold and completed within five months.<br><br>To say I would recommend Fran and Nicky doesn’t really do their service justice. What they offer is completely different to anything I had experienced before. They genuinely care about the outcome, take responsibility for the whole process and are there with you right through to completion.<br><br>Selling a house can be one of the most stressful things you go through, and having this level of communication, commitment and support is invaluable.<br><br>If you are considering selling your home, I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.

However, they put me in touch with their mortgage broker, Ricky Parmar, to help with my mortgage application, particularly as my credit history wasn’t perfect.<br><br>From the outset, I found Ricky to be extremely professional, helpful and reassuring. He talked me through the whole application process, found a specialist lender suitable for my circumstances, and helped me navigate the numerous queries that came back from the underwriters.<br><br>There were several points along the way when I worried that something might throw a spanner in the works, but Ricky was always reassuring and helped put my mind at ease. Whenever I emailed him with a question or concern, he responded very quickly and kept me informed throughout.<br><br>I’m delighted to say that I now have my formal mortgage offer, and I’m extremely grateful for Ricky’s help in getting me to this point.<br><br>I would highly recommend Ricky to anyone looking for a mortgage, particularly if your circumstances aren’t completely straightforward and you need someone knowledgeable and supportive to guide you through the process.
2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Adam Ali Lettings Manager @ Connells Kings Heath had been parachuted in from Connells Rugby end of May. ( my words not his). We were his first Lettings project at Kings Heath. Presented with an unusual and complicated end of tenancy on our property, Adam was the consumate professional and set about in a friendly manner resolving all of the many issues this end of tenancy presented. His experience and sound advice resulted in a house clearance and refurbishment from 5th June thru to marketing and viewings from end of July to a full letting with new tenants moving in on 18th August. Adam assisted by his collegue James Grey, constantly beat my expectations, especially as the previous Lettings Team had consistently failed to meet my expectations , despite me lowering them year on year. So if you are after experienced professional friendly customer service which put you first, I can recommend Adam and James. I never give 5 stars as I think there is always room for improvement in any organisation.
