Although we were only at the enquiry stage, Julie was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to understand the process and our options.<br><br>She was so polite, professional and approachable, and took the time to answer all of our questions clearly and patiently. She made a great first impression and gave us real confidence in the service.<br><br>If you’re considering going down the auction route, I would definitely recommend calling and asking to speak with Julie — she was absolutely lovely and a real credit to the team!

15th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Extremely disappointed, we had arranged a viewing and a time today, and we reached outside the property had to come quite a distance, and they refused to pick up any calls didn't have any agents available and after waiting 40 mins and being forwarded to voicemail I had no option but to leave. Avoid these property agents they are extremely unprofessional and do not care about other people's time

However, Natalie and the extended Oulsnam team have been brilliant throughout. Throughout the whole process she was helpful, supportive and easy to talk to. Giving detailed feedback on viewings, useful tips and putting in a considerable amount of effort to ensure the sale went through with her kind and cheerful manner, always returning calls promptly. Due to Sarah the stressful process of selling our old family home was made so much easier.

Guiding me every step of the way and answered any questions I had or if I had any difficulties she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She went above and beyond with the move ensuring everything was perfect for when I moved in. I am very grateful for her help and the smoothness of which this happened I am very happy with it all from Martin and co but Leigh ecspecially, thankyou!!!

18th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

14th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.

I WAS SO WRONG!<br><br>After having a sale fall through with another agent just before Christmas, I decided to take a break before putting the house back on the market. That’s when I instructed Fran and Nicky, and the difference was incredible.<br><br>The service was genuinely above and beyond and completely the opposite of my previous experience.<br><br>Communication was exceptional from start to finish. I never felt like my house was simply another property on their books. They were completely invested in selling it and, just as importantly, once we had a buyer, making sure the sale actually made it through to completion.<br><br>They were always one step ahead, anticipating potential issues before they became problems. I also know they worked just as hard with my buyer as they did with me, making sure we both felt completely supported throughout the process and that everything kept moving.<br><br>After being empty and on the market for nearly 12 months, Fran and Nicky relisted my house and we sold and completed within five months.<br><br>To say I would recommend Fran and Nicky doesn’t really do their service justice. What they offer is completely different to anything I had experienced before. They genuinely care about the outcome, take responsibility for the whole process and are there with you right through to completion.<br><br>Selling a house can be one of the most stressful things you go through, and having this level of communication, commitment and support is invaluable.<br><br>If you are considering selling your home, I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.

16th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)??????????<br><br>We’ve had a really positive experience with Tom Smallwood at Oakmans from the initial valuation right through to getting both of our properties on the market.<br><br>Tom has been friendly, professional and really easy to deal with throughout. He took the time to explain everything clearly, listened to what we wanted and never made us feel pressured. We were particularly impressed with how quickly everything was organised and how well the properties were presented once they went live.<br><br>There were a few small tweaks we wanted making to the listings after launch, but Tom was approachable and helpful in getting these sorted for us.<br><br>Selling two properties at the same time felt quite daunting at the beginning, but Tom has made the process feel straightforward so far. We’re really pleased we chose Oakmans and would happily recommend Tom to anyone thinking of selling.

You guys are the best, I will sure recommend Connells to anyone, cos they have the most amazing and professional staff.- 2nd Sep 2026 (19 days ago)Adam Ali Lettings Manager @ Connells Kings Heath had been parachuted in from Connells Rugby end of May. ( my words not his). We were his first Lettings project at Kings Heath. Presented with an unusual and complicated end of tenancy on our property, Adam was the consumate professional and set about in a friendly manner resolving all of the many issues this end of tenancy presented. His experience and sound advice resulted in a house clearance and refurbishment from 5th June thru to marketing and viewings from end of July to a full letting with new tenants moving in on 18th August. Adam assisted by his collegue James Grey, constantly beat my expectations, especially as the previous Lettings Team had consistently failed to meet my expectations , despite me lowering them year on year. So if you are after experienced professional friendly customer service which put you first, I can recommend Adam and James. I never give 5 stars as I think there is always room for improvement in any organisation.
