Shari lead our process and was fundamental in making the process as smooth as possible, even when changes occurred or plans changed. Shari worked with both sell & buy side solicitors to speed up the process and make sure everyone was happy.
14th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Their knowledge of the local area and their marketing was very good. The housing market softened in Northallerton softened which was out of their control but they continued to work with us and we are currently sold STC. Overall Youngs RPS have provide excellent service.

12th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)No communication. I needed to ring to get any updates one viewing in 6 months. Shop only open till lunchtime on a Saturday. Went 3 times to speak with them, on a Saturday and the shop was closed. Before lunchtime reduced price one week later went into the shop to tell them that the property was still full price in their window. paid nearly £900. For pictures and one media post on rightmove. So not good value for money.which I cant get anything back I needed to ask for my contract which they emailed to me after six months,to find out that no money would be given back not told this when I signed. Property does not sell its self need a good agent to push your property and tell you full details before you sign agreement.

2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

Did not listen to us about sale price, sent people who couldn’t afford the mortgage, poor quality feedback, not making appointments at requested times, even phoned 2 days after we had moved to see if we had exchanged!DO NOT USE THEIR AUCTION SERVICE!were on the verge of changing agents when we struck lucky thanks to Covid!

2nd Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)Very impressed with time keeping and overall process. The only small issue was that I asked for no FOR SALE board on the property. One appeared. I asked for it to be removed. After a few days it was taken away, but leaving rawl plugs in the stone wall near the front door.

I never imagined an estate agent would be so helpful in every area of selling my house; and my expectations are high. The cost was less than half everyone else quoted me.

14th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)I was a long term tenant, which the property management was taken over by Property Box and a new landlord. No due process. On leaving the property I found the agent fabricated unsubstantiated claims against my bond. Very poor... would recommend you stay away. Luckily the bond retention scheme awarded the return of my bond back to the tenant. From a landlord perspective, they failed to advise due process and stay ethical. Not recommended.
