I thoroughly enjoyed finding an estate agent who took time into understanding what I wanted and showing me 5 flats in one day (which she rated best to worst based on my descriptions and she was 100% accurate). Stephanie has been helpful since the get go and I would highly recommend reaching out to her. She is attentive and is happy to go above and beyond the call of duty and work late into the evening and even on her days off. Thank you steph., you have been a great help to myself and Olivia. Adam, Ella and their team add a personal touch and great professionalism to the difficult and emotional process of selling your home. The whole team was very communicative, fair and pleasant to deal with all the way through the process, from valuing our property to after-sales service. We got to know them through our neighour's recomendation and we would only use them again and I can whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone with a property to sell.

The costs were clearly communicated from the outset which wasn’t the case with some other agencies we contacted. Communication was excellent and they handled all negotiations well. We were kept well informed as the sale progressed. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

9th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Pleased with the service from Paul Copeland and his staff. Even phoning a vier on a Sunday and contacting me to confirm they were attending. They brought lots of viewers through the door. were the previous Estate Agent failed.
14th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)The house looked great on line had plenty of viewing arranged with no problems staff pleasant when you phoned them the only thing I didn’t agree with was the cost being a fixed price so my house was only modest price but I payed Same as someone selling for double or even triple mine but I’m so pleased it is going through hopefully

28th Mar 2024 (23 days ago)We sold our house last year through your move darlington and were delighted with the service and support we received every step of the way. Due to a change of circumstances during the sale we were also looking for a property to rent and as we were so happy with everyone we had already dealt we decided to use them for our rental. The sales and lettings department worked fantastically together and managed to keep the sale of our house going and found us an excellent rental property. I have spoken with Andrea in maintenance on a number of occasions and no matter whether its a small problem or something bigger she is always happy to help, has jobs organised and carried out to a high standard and in a very reasonable time frame. Her communication is excellent and thorough in all cases.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Very poor service and communication! First rang the company to organise a viewing for two flats for sale on 23rd Feb was told the sales team member would call back. The following week I rang back as I had not heard anything, was told they were trying to reach the tenants to organise a viewing this was about a month ago. Still now I haven't heard anything back. Terrible shame

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

14th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)I was a long term tenant, which the property management was taken over by Property Box and a new landlord. No due process. On leaving the property I found the agent fabricated unsubstantiated claims against my bond. Very poor... would recommend you stay away. Luckily the bond retention scheme awarded the return of my bond back to the tenant. From a landlord perspective, they failed to advise due process and stay ethical. Not recommended.
