22nd Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Poor communication between staff who I felt not genuine when asking questions. One staff member extremely rude me accused of phoning on Saturday when he had been connected by the office who had phoned me!! Told us we were patronising!! Also they did not listen to my requests and told me I was a difficult client because I was quite specific in the type of client I wanted to rent my house to. The customer does not come first in this business .Charges for services ridiculously high but they do not communicate back to you when you raise a query with them. Would never use again and not recommend.

I cannot recommend the team highly enough... efficient, communicative, patient, organised, flexible, responsive and above all kind to me.

13th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

15th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)I recently sold my house and made an onward purchase through Colette Gunter's. I had a few local estate agents out to value my home, of which, Gunter's valued my home the highest (the realistic price I expected). They are an established Formby business, who have a lot of valuable local knowledge. They rely on this local knowledge rather than antiquated sales techniques during a period when the market is slower than usual. All members of staff were easy to talk to, helpful, friendly and hard working. No hints of bluntness or condescending tone, which seemed commonplace at some other estate agents during my house hunt. I completed my onward move within 6 weeks, which is testament to the hard work and professionalism of this estate agents.
5th Jun 2023 (11 mo. ago)Absolutely terrible customer service. I own a property next door to one of their properties and have had an issue with a fence which they refuse to accept responsibility for. It has been down for 15 months and they refuse to show proof of their deeds (despite asking me, even though the property is their responsibility). Emails have been ignored and claims they have tried to help but are not providing any details despite asking me for half the money? The attitude of staff is unhelpful and generally rude. Making comments to their tenants about other peoples circumstances when they dont have any facts. Not at all helpful or willing to show proof but demanding money and proof from other people. Also threatening their tenants with eviction because they havent fixed an issue.

We were doubtful as heard this before and the house had been on the market for over a year. Well less then two weeks an offer was in and the house is sold. would highly recommend Mark and also Agency UK to anyone trying to sell in this tough market
