4th Dec 2023 (24 weeks ago)At our first meeting with Christina she provided an accurate assessment of the property value. She forecast how she thought the sale would proceed and provided a value which was less than a competitor and was realistic. Christina dealt and reasoned with both sides of the differences throughout the process. All viewings were undertaken by Haybrook. Christina expedited the conclusion of the sale with her local knowledge which was an absolute god send. I think its always worth getting a few valuations but Haybrook is the one I would highly recommend. Thank you for all your help and assistance.

15th Dec 2023 (22 weeks ago)When I was renting the property, contacting them was almost impossible. I sent them multiple emails that went unanswered... But when they needed something, they would expect me to reply immediately or they kept checking up on me very frequently. Then, rest assured... they will charge you for ANY pre-existing damage that the property you're renting has (and trust me, it will have pre-existing damage, they don't look after their properties very well), it doesn't matter if you have proof that it was there when you arrived, if you don't notice it immediately and report it on their inventory, it will NOT count and they will charge you for it. I tried providing evidence in my case and they threatened me with charging me a higher fee so I had to accept the charges they had decided just so that I could avoid a higher fee. They will definitely take advantage of you.

Communication was all one way - from us and unless we asked we heard nothing. When we did speak it all just seemed like typical "sales patter". We will stick to traditional agents in the future.

Vicky's level of communication was second to none, we constantly knew how things were progressing not only with our sale but also our purchase which Vicky worked tirelessly on even on her days of rest. Even though we have moved from the area we will use Hamble Estate agency if at all possible. We could not recommend enough!
14th Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)I’m sure there are some success stories but ours isn’t one. I would guess they couldn’t anticipate the disaster of the auction buyers solicitor or the fact the buyer was clearly trying to avoid stamp duty. After being assured everything was fine and above board the auction collapsed leaving us in a financial mess and no compensation. The second auction got unpleasant between solicitors (buyers not accepting it was an auction time line) The hope was for a quick sale, instead we are no further forward and out of pocket.
