29th May 2026 (22 days ago)Our house had been on the market for a number of months with another agent before I did some further research and decided to go with Avenue Estates. With the previous estate agent, we often felt like just another number on their books. Viewings were very slow, and we didn’t feel we received well-rounded or particularly helpful feedback afterwards. After several months, I decided to look for another agent. Our experience with Dominic from Avenue Estates was completely different. His communication was consistently excellent, and he kept us updated throughout the entire process. He secured a much steadier flow of viewings and was always thoughtful with timings, understanding that we had young children and were often working from home. He would send feedback almost immediately after each viewing, and it was always exceptionally thorough, which we really appreciated. Towards the end of the process, there were a number of issues involving the sellers’ solicitors, but Dominic maintained excellent communication between ourselves, the buyers, the sellers, and the solicitors. He made what could have been a very stressful situation feel far more manageable. I’ve already recommended Dominic to others I know who are planning to sell, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him again.

Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.
26th May 2026 (25 days ago)Avoid. If you wish to purchase, the agency is at the service of the seller, never the buyer. All financial shenanigans are permitted to satisfy the seller. They rent out flats with photos that are 10 years old! The rentals are in terrible condition, with high rents and minimal maintenance. The deposit is often reduced, allowing the landlord to make an additional profit. Update: Sadly, I was a customer. Update: I have recovered my deposit, which you were wrongly holding back, via myDeposits.
29th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)I had a really great experience with Your Move, everyone was so friendly and easy to deal with. There were quite a few moments where I felt a bit out of my depth and wasn’t totally sure what was going on, but the team were always super patient and happy to explain things in a way that actually made sense. It made everything feel way less stressful than I expected. Big thank you to Samantha Morse who was honestly amazing, she helped me out so much and never made me feel silly for asking loads of questions. Would definitely recommend!
3rd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)First experience with Connells. Me and my partner got booked in for a viewing of a letting property . We arrived on time yet no one was there to show us around. We waited there for half a hour and attempted to make contact several times and nothing. I’m still trying to get in contact today and still nothing the viewing was now 3 days ago and I still haven’t received any further information. Please don’t expect anything if you get booked in for a viewing and just stay clear because you will end up wasting your time. Thanks.

23rd Jan 2026 (21 weeks ago)Had 8 different estate agents value my property (having already done my own research). ONLY Fox and Sons valued it the same. All the others just showed my details of other properties, none of which compared to mine, and put a ridiculously low value on mine. I showed them the door. Fox & Sons did not do this. They organised professional photographs etc., and advertised my property. Within a week I had an acceptable offer at my and Fox & Sons valuation, and far above that at which all the other Estate Agents had valued my home. The service from Fox & Sons has been nothing short of excellent, keeping me fully informed by text, email and phone, every step of the way. all I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for the buyer.- 4th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)Emma the mortgage adviser has been excellent. I came across the process with several viewings together with Sales Negotiator Bailey, he is professional, always at the property before scheduled time, gave us suggestions with useful information to our questions.

They have been here a very long time and are now a fundamental part of the village ‘backbone’. Their amazing branch manager, Sarah, has a fantastic team - everyone is friendly, supportive, customer-focused and efficient and always willing to help in whatever way they can. They have the full suite of property services under one roof – property valuations, sales, lettings, mortgages - and their mortgage broker, Jayne, is a complete genius! In my particular case, Austin & Wyatt at Lyndhurst have been outstanding – they have provided me with so much assistance regarding my property and all the wider issues – I just can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done. They are the first party involved in a sale I have ever wanted to use again. You are dealing with humans who understand the overall context of the sale, not an automated workflow of Bot like responses.

10th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)I recently dealt with the selling team at Charters, Chandlers Ford, and even though I didn’t end up purchasing a property through them, I genuinely feel they deserve a positive review. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable. A special mention has to go to Jorgia, who was consistently brilliant throughout. She was friendly, proactive, knowledgeable and made the whole process feel far less stressful. She kept me updated without ever being pushy, answered all of my questions, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me find the right place rather than just pushing a sale. Even though my purchase ended up going in a different direction, the level of service I received from Jorgia stood out. I’d happily recommend Charters to anyone looking for an estate agent that’s communicative, honest, and genuinely supportive.

Particularly I have a positive experience with Mr. Simon Edsor who had shown me few houses. He always able answer all the questions about the property and take the time and effort to come back with the answers if he couldn't do at the time of viewing. I appreciate his balanced views and he also has an in-depth knowledge about the areas, including some historical aspects. My sincere gratitude to the excellent service from Charters and Mr. Edsor.
