Even though we put the house on the market over Easter weekend, the process was done quickly and with good communication. We had regular updates and the staff were friendly and helpful.

23rd Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)Just don't go there. Individually very pleasant people, as a firm, hopeless. I engaged them with specific agreed conditions which they all seemed happy with but were totally ignored. They had a tenant in the wings but did not send me any signed hard copy tenancy agreement until the tenant had taken up occupation three weeks previously. They are expensive for poor performance and ignore instructions taking it upon themselves to follow their own devices. Keys taken away preventing cleaners access. More keys cut contra to instruction and overall totally ignored my instructions, contract conditions and expensive to boot.
28th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)They were excellent communicators and went out of their way to help us even when there was no financial benefit for them. We would recommend anybody buying or selling a home in this area use them - as their customer focus and understanding of the local area is unparalleled.
14th Sep 2020 (3 years ago)We were sold a house via Birkmyre rather than actually using the company but from the POC of being on the receiving end, Dominic and Luci were great. They were very helpful and polite and even with the frustration of delays and COVID, they have remained brilliant. Thank you.
27th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)The worst lettings/estate agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. All staff dealt with have been incredibly unpleasant, contentious, arrogant, unprofessional, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. This includes the practice manager who failed to respond appropriately or professionally to a complaint. I am contemplating taking further action.

30th Jan 2024 (14 weeks ago)One of the worst experiences I have had. Incompetence doesn’t cover it. As someone who demands reliability and integrity I would not use this company. They are poor at communicating and when direct emails are sent they are ignored. If you are a seller I would choose another company as they will more than likely lose you clients. As a buyer I would go direct to the owner of the property and make an off the cards offer and cut them out.

My house went on the market just before the pandemic and so entered the market at a pretty difficult time. The photos taken for the details were absolutely excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the process and was pleased to be able to contact the agent at anytime. A brilliant service!
