21st Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Selling our parents' home with Forum was an excellent decision. We hoped we would have a supportive estate agent and we were not disappointed. From the first meeting Martin was enthusiastic about selling the property, shared very useful advice, understood the sensitivity required following a recent bereavement and was indeed very supportive. The photographs presented the house and garden beautifully and we were very happy with the brochures. He provided feedback following the viewings which we took on board and it was this advice, that I believe, clinched the deal. Working with Martin motivated me to keep moving forward and change things within the house to appeal to a wider audience. Communication via WhatsApp ensured we knew when viewings would be happening, and speaking on the phone was also really important, to share information and ideas. I also spoke with Ashley a couple of times which I found very helpful. Martin's enthusiasm and positivity about the house and it's potential ensured the perfect family bought the property and we are delighted with how it has all worked out. Thank you.
25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

29th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)Charters Estate Agents had to put up with a lot from an extremely stressed me - not all to do with the purchase so it made it more difficult for them - and although this purchase definitely went slower than perhaps it should have, they contacted me with updates and I know for a fact pushed things along with the vendor, who also helped as much as he could, that definitely helped the process - I have nothing but thanks and praise for Paul Mason, Tom Harper, Alex Porter and especially the Sales Progression Assistant Sohniya Bhatti who put up with a lot of repeated requests and whinging from me. I am not normally like this and I spent so long apologising and then going back and moaning I am amazed at their patience and understanding - I even sent them pictures of paintings I had done - I'm surprised they didn't get me certified. Honestly they had more patience than I deserved and the process was only slowed by a few extra weeks which was not in their control but they still tried to sort out. I recommend them.

The whole process was smooth and well-managed, which made what can often be a stressful move, feel much easier. Hannah in particular was absolutely lovely to deal with—friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any questions I had along the way. Her communication was clear and timely, which really helped keep everything on track. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Connells to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent. A genuinely great service
