28th Mar 2024 (28 days ago)We have just moved out of our house as we are expecting a little one . Just wanted to say a massive thank you to siobhan. She really went the extra mile to make sure we had a an easy stress free move and helped a lot with the closure of are contract which we are sad that come to and end. Highly recommend if looking for a property in the Salisbury area . Will definitely be going back to Siobhan when looking for a new property . Truly an amazing lady .

28th Feb 2024 (8 weeks ago)Terrible service. Failed in the basic- checking source and availability of funds of buyer. Left us out of pocket by many thousands of pounds when at exchange the buyer had no funds. Failed to follow their own complaints procedure by ignoring our emails.
2nd Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)David and everyone at Symonds and Sampson, Blandford were a joy to work with from the initial visit to completion. We found David's knowledge of the market invaluable and even more importantly his ability to communicate with both parties at various potential stumbling blocks. Thank you very much for all you help. 24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Slightly concerned at the lack of communication with us since we put our house on the market. No proper feedback on viewings and when requested a price decrease on line it wasn’t actioned on the first request then actioned on the second but got the price wrong. Not a great start- 1st Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Oh dear. We found a property to rent and what started off as a promising start, with Aimee in her first week as a lettings agent, she was very pleasant and competent. We placed the required 5 weeks holding deposit on the property and proceeded with the referencing formalities etc., During this time the Landlady changed her mind (not for the first time) and no longer wanted to rent the property but now wanted to sell it. As we had only signed the 'intention' to rent and paid the holding deposit to Connells, that was that, the tenancy could not go ahead. So we asked Connells for our 5 weeks deposit back and despite being told it would be returned, kept getting fobbed off with excuses such as 'the accounts team are very busy' to, 'we use an external company to take/hold the deposits' (which was not disclosed at the time placing the payment directly with them.. Upshot after continual failures to return the deposit we gave them a 5 day notice of intended litigation. No deposit received, so proceeded with a claim through the Small Claims Court. Strangely, the deposit was then returned, but not yet the costs incurred is getting it back; so we will proceed with the litigation and see what a Judge makes of their behavior. I understand the 'change in mind was not the agents fault, but the manner in which they behaved thereafter was dreadful. Avoid handing any money over to them.
25th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)Michael was very helpful at the introduction. We chose A&W over three other local agents. However, things went drastically wrong after that. The photography (a 'professional' photographer in a tearing hurry) was very poor; lots of overexposure, and failed to actually capture the relevant features (eg stools chopped in half at breakfast bar, missed a feature wall, and had to be called back from the road for missing photos). When the Particulars were sent the photos were unsatisfactory. A&W said they would correct this, but when particulars were resent - they sent the same photos even though we had discussed and approved other photos for use - including some that we took ourselves, to supplement the poor ones. There appears to be little communication between the staff, and even less with the clients. As a result we decided not to continue with this agent having lost faith: if they couldn't even get the particulars right, what sort of service would they be able to provide further down the line? Would not recommend.

Then asked us to reduce asking price by £250,000, had people viewing offering £1,000,000 thinking we were desperate to sell because of the large reduction. Sacked them after two months, house never sold.- 26th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Darryl introduced us to the online auction process, which proved to be fast, straightforward and effective. She was delightful to work with and helped us to a very successful outcome.

29th Mar 2024 (27 days ago)I can't recommend Dema and The Private Realtor enough, not only did she succeed where other high street agents did not, but ran a tight and very efficient process which led to a successful completion. The Private Realtor actually sells your house, it does not just show it, and there is a big difference, especially at higher price points - and this goes to the promotional videos (not just photos) - to the full service as well. This is how a house should be sold - with happy buyers and sellers. Ellerby Street, Fulham SW6.

30th Jan 2024 (12 weeks ago)After making the tough decision to sell my property, I then had an even more difficult decision to make in choosing which Estate Agent to list with. Through experience, I knew which agents that I definitely did not want to use and this left me with a handful of options to consider. I met with 3 different Estate Agent representatives and I knew immediately after my consultation with Oliver Chandler that I wanted to use them. Not only do they have many years of experience working in the industry, they also valued my input regarding valuation, the 'process' to take in adjusting to the market and most important of all; the urgency to get my property onto the market. My property was listed the next day! Oliver Chandler gave a genuine and personal service that is lacking in most industries these days, particularly the Estate Agent business. They went above and beyond in dealing with all aspects of my house viewings, sale and purchase. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Do yourself and favour and chose Oliver Chandler as your Estate Agent, you will not regret it.
